you can link the application using family name option. It doesnt have to be UCI/application number. Yes you can use your UCI to send the document. In the letter of explanation write in your and the sponsors details (names and UCI). And you should also call them as to ask them to link the new document to your application package.
Thank you. I tried and there is nothing there so I guess they haven't started working on it yet.
When did you send your application?
We sent on Feb18th, but havent received anything as yet. We used 2019 imm008, as we had already signed it Dec2019 and were not aware of the new Jan2020 update, until this week. We are just hoping they dont send it back.
I think i read your post wrong. Thought it said youve received AOR1. My bad, lol.
A lot of Jan and Feb applicants have done the same as you. I do not think it will be an issue in most cases. And hopefully they wont even ask to resubmit the form. I do not believe they would return the application because of it. I would suggest to not worry about it. Specially, when you are not alone to do it.
