December inland applicant, application got returned yesterday due to a missed line, so joining your group now and applying outland as it seems to be a bit quicker - fingers crossed! Sending it off tomorrow.

Application recieved on 11th Feb.
Everything is perfect however both mine and her PCC I have sent copies.
Now the wait begins we both staying together after marriage since 3yrs.

To be honest it all depends . For best refer look at January application forum . Some
Got it after 14 days , some
Still haven’t ... officially it may take up to 6 weeks ( let’s hope this is not the case ) good luck !

I have linked my application, it says "Estimated time to completion - Jan.27, 2021". Also it says this time may vary depending on number of applications submitted....Is this a worst case scenario timeline ??? ....because it looks like people already getting their files sent to Mississauga...Thoughts ?

It’s only a guideline. The standard processing time is 12 months. A small few will get it quickly in 3 months or less, a good quantity in 6 months, a large portion in 6-12 months, and an approximate 20% of all applications will fall into the ‘out of normal processing time’ which is more than 12 months. Depends entirely on each individual application and its complexity. (And how backlogged they are at the visa office your application ends up at.)

We got AOR1 on 15th Feb, however I am still not able to link my account online. Tried a number of combinations.
Is there something specific to keep in mind while trying to do so?

Try not using your UCI number - use Application# and Last name....My UCI was different when I linked.

I just sent off our package yesterday, and noticed that they have updated form imm0008 generic Jan.2020.
Ours were the 2019 forms. As we had signed them in December 2019, but due to dependent child issues we had a delay.
Is there a chance our package will be sent back because of that? Please help

I’m following this too as ours (signed December 21st) was sent back due to missing birth date on one form - fixed it and sent the entire package again today. Hoping this won’t be an issue

Doesnt sound like it was an issue. Just the missinh birth date.

I also just noticed that imm008 was updated in january..i have already sent my application..will there be any issue..i dont see any difference in both the forms.Not sure what was updated
