Anyone oath scheduled tomorrow (Aug 19?)

Is in person and Online

Oath complete today morning. Was a bit concerned at the start because the host didn't accept me into the zoom meeting 10 mins after the start but all good. Now we wait for the certificate. And then passports

I have received online Oath invite for 31st Aug, mine submitted on Feb 2020, test complete on 24th May.

I have question, during Oath ceremony, we have to stay present all the time in online Oath ceremony or can we step out for a min to attend kids, i have 2 young kids. or we need to arrange child care?.

You need to be present all the time. You get some waiting time in the middle as you wait to complete the administrative work, but you do not know when it'll be your turn so it'll be difficult to step away

yes of course. No issues there.You just need to be present and on camera at all times. The whole process takes around 2-2.5 hours so I’d block off 3 hours just to be safe.

Just imagine how would you have done if it was a physical oath ceremony, then do the same!

The actual ceremony would take more than 30 - 45 minutes but there are other administrative work like verifying your identity before the ceremony and getting you to sign the oath form / cut PR card after the ceremony. But all together, make sure you allocate at least 3 hours in case the ceremony takes longer. This instruction is also provided in the oath letter.

Speaking of, how long after oath complete does everything change on the new tracker to complete? I guess once they ship out the certificate?

Usually happens in a couple of days.

Sorry just curious, my file was updated today, but nothing changed. Am Feb 24 applicant. Before now it was updated Aprile 2021 and now again . Was your updated before any changes happened?

My tracker has been updated several occasions. First time my test changed from “Complete “ to “In Progress “))) funny
Then they scheduled test for me, then I called them and they removed the schedule for test, then few day updated with nothing as @rajkamalmohanram said something like gust. After a week all sections changed to complete except test )) then oath invitation
