There will not be any progress unless the COVID situation improves.
This is kind of annoying though: here in US the COVID situation improves and it is improving in Canada as well. We will be soon able to go around without mask or limitation (provided that we are vaccinated), so why is COVID still an excuse for officer not doing their job? Students and temporary workers are allowed in, with or without vaccine and soon even tourists will be allowed...

I read an article somewhere yesterday that Canada won't consider reopening the US-CA border until 75% of qualified people received their doses. So, there is still a long way to go. Be patient bro, you are not alone.

@legalfalcon - Any idea why I received a Biometric Instruction Letter again? My biometrics were completed on my profile last October 2020 (through exemption) and are valid till 2027.

For reference, I'm CEC Inland, Feb AOR. Criminality is in progress and Security not started.

Edit: They also requested Resume/CV - any idea why?
My spouse received the biometrics letter twice, in GCMS note there was "SYSTEM_ERROR" the first time. So, she had to do it again.

Uh good to know, thanks! I gave mine again today just to be safe; better than waiting for a webform and potentially causing more delay.

Hello all,
FSW-Inland
Feb 2020 AOR
VO Ottawa
Just received extension of medical that expired Feb 24 2021. I'm way beyond hopelessness after 16 months wait, but browsing this forum it seems like medical extension is the step before getting CoPR...just wanted to let people know Ottawa seems like it's touching FSW files.

Hi everyone, please does anyone have the email address for Ottawa? Especially if it's an email you have gotten a response from.
Thank you in advance
