After an application has started processing, IRCC cannot reject it, unless the application itself does not meet the eligibility.

Having an extended family is NOT expedite your PR application. If you want to travel to Canada, you can apply for a visa and request exemption rom travel restrictions based on extended family reunification.

Hi, our PR application (FSW outland) has a status approved (according GCMS notes) but we haven't received our COPR's yet. I am the principal applicant in our application. Now my husband is on his way to have a job offer. If he has the job, can he apply for a work permit while we're awaiting our PR? Or is there any other way he can already legally work in Canada before we receive our COPR's?

My medical expired on Jan 11th and it was extended on March 11 which is also when it showed up on my account

There are many applications where the GCMS notes show approved, but the COPR has not been issued as many application have been placed on hold.

If you get a job, you will have to apply for a work permit a you are not a PR and thus need a visa to work in Canada

I opened my application on this date 13 Feb 2020, but my a medical check was expired, but they said you don't need a medical exam, if we need tell you. So my background check is processing. I took action myself and I can not give a request for GCMS. Can anyone tell me how long to wait? I sent criminal Police twice. anybody can take for me GCMS I will so because I live in Iran and I don't have Visa Card or similar this for pay the money and I don't have one person from Canada(You can search for financial sanctions and money transfers, for Iran)

Hi everyone, I just received my GCMS notes. Status as always: criminality in progress, security not started. I also learnt that medicals were extended for 12 months. In the notes there are a lot of fields "APPLICATION: #", with field names, old values and new values. There are 90 of them, with different acronyms and in general with no dates. Do you know what they are? Thanks!

@legalfalcon - Any idea why I received a Biometric Instruction Letter again? My biometrics were completed on my profile last October 2020 (through exemption) and are valid till 2027.

For reference, I'm CEC Inland, Feb AOR. Criminality is in progress and Security not started.

Edit: They also requested Resume/CV - any idea why?

Resume /cv is sent to applicants with advanced degrees in sciences. As regards biometrics, it could be because your fingerprints were not clear. So contact IRCC and clarify.

Seems like the IRCC agent doesn't know either regarding the biometrics and asked me to submit a webform. Apparently it doesn't show on their side that they have it, even though it's on my portal as complete.
