FSW inland application

AOR Feb 10th
MEP/BIL FEB 20th

Biometrics booked for March 9th. An RCMP background check with fingerprints was also requested which I had done and am waiting for the results in the mail. Will this slow down my application?

Does it make difference in processing time for normal PR Visa and PR based on PNP?
I have got Nomination from Alberta and also received AOR on 7th Feb.

There is no difference in the processing time. The processing time depends on the complexity of your application and the work loads on the visa office where your application is being processed.

Hi!
AOR- Feb 17
Medical passed - Feb 21

I did my medical upfront and did my biometrics the same day I applied. Now, my profile shows Background check in progress. What should be the next update?

When you got the biometrics letter ? or You did your biometrics without letter?

I did my biometrics right after I submitted my application (paper based). I did not get a biometrics confirmation email but in my account it shows the date my biometrics is completed and the validity.

what should be the next step, background check shows in progress

There is no BIL completion date, instead you will see an update on your MyCIC account, which you do, so you are all good.
