What type of error did they make in the COPR and visa for your child? They mixed up the pictures for my girls and just got a response I need to courier our

Hi - in my case it was an error in my kids' passports (wrong names in the machine readable zones) which meant the names on the COPRs and visas were wrong. I actually had to get both my kids new passports before requesting documents again.

In my case, since the error was not IRCCs (but from my country's government), I had to pay a reissue fee for the COPRs online before I submitted the documents. One thing to be careful about is that if even one person has an issue, you need to submit everyone's passports and COPRs. If you are from a visa exempt country, you may possibly not need to submit passports. So even though documents were fine for my spouse and me, I had to submit all our passports and COPRs and they cancelled and reissued both visas and COPRs for everyone.

I think your message got cut off, so if you meant to ask something I didn't address, please feel free to reply.

Does anyone know how long it takes from RPRF payment to PPR?
I was asked to pay RPRF on Oct 11. When should I expect the PPR?
VO is London UK

Hello guys,
I have been silently following this forum for a while now. I am coming to the end of my pr journey so I thought I would share me experience to encourage others the same way I have been encouraged by all of you.
I applied for pr as a cec inland.
Aor 16th February 2019.
VO: Vancouver
ADR: transcripts for Canadian education and diploma April 18th
Submitted April 21st
Dead silence till October 7
PFL received October 7th, officer was concerned about my employment declaration. One of the paystubs I submitted had 24hours in a biweekly work period and my employment letter states that I work average of 40 hours a week. Also he couldn’t find a website for my employer and the address on the letter head is a residential address.
So I wrote a letter explaining that My schedule varied and the 40 hours stated was the estimated average over the year. I submitted more paystubs to support this. The 24 hours paystub was around the Christmas break and I took a Christmas vacation. I explained this in the letter and added my T4 to prove that the said pay period was indeed the last pay period of the year. I also got my employer to provide prove of his business registration(I work for a small business). I submitted the documents and letter on the 8th of October. Yesterday the status was “we are reviewing the additional doc.....” today it changed to NA. So I called cic and the agent confirmed they received my documents and made a final decision.(approved) she congratulated me and asked for patience for the ppr.
I know it is a long post, but I just hope it encourages someone. And remember, if they give you a chance through a procedural fairness letter, please do you best to explain all their concerns and add as much evidence as you can get to support your explanations.
Hey buddy did you get the golden email?

If an ADR comes for pay slips and tax documents ,can I submit bank statements and pay slips ?

I have submitted payslips of December and January for each year while submitting my file .

If they are specifically asking for tax documents then I would think you would then be required to submit them. If you cannot locate tax documents then you would have to explain the reason, and back up your employment in another way since it appears there is something in the initial information that you gave that is making them dig deeper.

Ok thanks.

Hello all, my application was refused today on the grounds of NOC code not matching the job duties. Is there a way to appeal this decision? I have gained more experience since the submission of application in the NOC I listed on my application.

Here is summary:

Aor- Feb 9
CRS 449
NOC 2141
Med -Mar 26
ADR- Sep 13- paystubs/tax returns
Refusal letter- Oct 11

Didn’t expect them to reject my application for NOC mismatch after 8 months.

what are my options?
Hi which sream wre you applied? Did you get nomination letter from the province or you were federal system?

Hello to people who have already got their PR and who are still waiting for it. If there is a Whatsapp group I would love to be a part of it. We are planning to land in Canada mid December and would br nice to know other people moving around the same time.

Thank you

Hi
There are facebook groups you can search for. People moving there on a student visa use fb groups all the time, I am sure new immigrants do the same. Such groups share a lot of info that help new settlers like accommodation, etc.
There are also country / culture specific groups like I am a member of Ottawa Indian community on Facebook.

They have been of great help to all members and answered every single question of mine with many suggestions and information.

All the best :)

I apologize if this is a wrong thread. Does anyone know how long it is taking these days to receive a PR card? I see on their website that it takes 16 days. So does the PR card come under 16 days or it can take longer? What time is not included in 16 days?

Starting to curse my luck. My application is over 8 months old and I’ve been on Recommend pass (RP) for well over 2 months (everyone else with RP appears to have gotten PPR but not me). It’s been radio silence from IRCC since I passed my medicals and it’s driving me mad. Sorry for venting on here, today has been especially tough for me.

Congratulations to everyone who has received PPR and God speed to the rest of us
Feel free to vent as much as you want. If you look at old posts most of them are people letting out their frustration. Some might not like it, but most of us here won't mind as we can understand what you feel.
I know no words can make you feel better, but I hope your wait ends soon.

It takes around two weeks these days to get the PR card. I can't comment if it take longer, may it can but everyone I know, who moved recently got it in 10-12 days.
