Are you able to access ECAS to see any correspondence sent?

I am able to open and access ECAS, but not any correspondences that I see.
it just says
1. Application received.
2. Medical approved.

Did your SA letter mention anything about the Schedule A? They mention to provide the Schedule A if you have not submitted (through GIC Account or IRCC Webform). If not, i will suggest you to call the CIC and ask about the Schedule A and PCC without which they would not transfer the file to the respective VO.

Yeah it didn't
all it said was that my spouse was approved as a sponsor..
so I should call the CIC and inquire about a Schld A background check?

You can call and check with CIC but the reason why I believe CIC didn't ask you to submit Sched A and PCC is you've already submitted them upfront when you sent out the entire application package. CIC/IRCC will get back to you if they need PCC or Sched A but in your case I don't think they will but you can verify with them. That's why you don't see that 2nd line (mailed you correspondence) in your ECAS.

I assume you submitted PCC and Sched A upfront? Is that right?

Maybe it depend on case to case. Even, i had provided the Schedule A and PCC upfront but got a request to upload Schedule A through GIC account.

Hi everyone. Can you please help me on how to upload Schedule A to IRCC WEBFORM?

Should you choose to submit this form to the Case Processing Centre Mississauga by mail or through the IRCC Web form, you must complete additional steps prior to submission:

1. Ensure you validate the Schedule A form. 2. Print out the form and sign in writing (provide your handwritten signature) next to your
name in the signature box. If you do not sign and date the form according to these instructions, another copy of the form with a signature will be required.

Once these steps are completed, you can submit the validated and signed copy of this form to CPC-Mississauga via mail or through the IRCC Web form.

Which Visa Office they sent your application?

Yes, PCC is Police Criminal Check. I believe you're good but call CIC and double check to put your mind at ease. Maybe Ottawa VO will not ask but NDVO does? I believe it totally depends on which VO is your file being processed and of course it changes from case to case.
