Here is the update on my wife sponsorship. I have received AOR 1 yesterday and am able to link file thru CGKey.

Application Received: Feb 14, 2017
AOR-1 Received: March 1, 2017
GCKey linked application: March 1, 2017

Ecas shows started processing on March 2, 2017

You finally got it?? I am happy for you. Congrats and the next step is SA and I hope you get that in a few days as well!! I am waiting for mine now. I submitted mine a day after you submitted yours so I am hoping to receive it anytime soon.

Hang in there my friend. They received mine on Feb 02 and I have yet to receive the AOR email.

Looking at other applicants it usually takes between 2-4 weeks. Hopefully you get yours soon.

Finally got it! I can't link yet though, it seems. I've tried to different ways twice and don't want to get locked out so I'm going to wait a little while to try again. We are in the small group who seemed to be getting it later, so I hope you get yours by the end of this week!!!

For those struggling with linking, I did the following steps that were provided to this forum by Majesty and Novel:

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (choose common-law, married or conjugal, whatever applies to you)
3 I selected application number and family name (use family name of PA).
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once or return key until it turns black not red) - nothing else
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - I entered in the dates for passport info. For "passport #", try leaving 1 space like how you would do for "city of birth"
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my common-law partner with not dependent(s).

So I, the US outland applicant, received an email to link our application to our account... is that the AOR1?

My Common-law spouse also received an email telling him they've received application... is that the SA?
It said;

"Hello SPONSOR...
We received you application to sponsor a member of the family class........ received Feb.6 for the following
- MY NAME."

He got his email first then I got mine about two hours later.

EDIT: Just saw our Application went into "Review of Eligibility: Review in Progress!"
-Although it says
"We're reviewing visitor visa, study or work permit eligibility.
If the eligibility requirements are not met, the application may be refused"
Dunno why they're doing that...

Finally I got AOR1 this morning but I can't able to link my application. I would try maybe after 24 hours, I already tried like 3 times. Next is SA so let's see how long that's going to take
