My application returned back and the mentioned i missing form/doucment (country specific requirement Link was mentioned)

When i checked all the returned docs i found birthday certificate was missing ,,'



Now I have conffusion when i went on the link it also mentions that "Supplementary information your travels")

DO i need to send this document too ??

is it my wife's info they need or mine(I am the sponsor)

Please assist

Yes. You have to provide the Supplementary information for your travels. There are different sections for the sponsor and the principal applicant as well.
You will have to mention all the trips outside your & your spouse's country of origin/ country of residence from the past 10 years. This is what I remember.

Please check the Country specific section. But the document is mandatory.

Thats right. In your case, Principal apllicant is your wife and you are the sponsor as you are applying for her.
Remember to enter travel information for both of you in the specified table in the form.

I dont know how to say thank you...I was disappointed when my file returned after 20 days..Moreover i hired lawyer who made such a big mistake..

So, I(sponsor) just received the email containing a UCI and application number. I am not able to link my account yet though.

Also seems that my wife (principal applicant) did not receive any email. From what I am reading, the principal applicant typically receives an email containing a link to link the application? Can anyone clarify?

I was having the same problem as you. I just filled out the form and was able to select ongoing for current address and validate it successfully.

I am the prinicpal applicant and I received the email to link the application. In your case you received the email which i think doesn't matter. It is the same thing.
Not sure on what basis do they select the email.

Regarding linking the application, you can check the previous post by me. I too was facing issues while linking but was able to linl after the above steps mentioned. Also note that the maximum attempt for incorrect linking is 5 after which the account gets locked for 24 hours.
This should help your to link your application.

Yes I tried using the tips you mentioned but it strangely still did not work... And I just got my account locked for 24h.
The email I received also didn't mention anything about linking the account. This is what I got:

It was asked to me to link the application in the email.

Recieved Aor today applied family class outside of Canada . Application recieved February 1, 2017. Wishing everyone goodluck

I guess I'll just have to wait until I get further instructions. At least I am able to check my application status on CIC now... Though all that it says is "received".

Congratulations! My application was received February 2nd. Hoping for some good news this week.
