The person was given 30 days to convince them he wasn't committing fraud. Once a procedural fairness letter is issued its almost impossible to overcome.

Our form was signed by my wife in section A and designated me in section C.

Our message was different and specified that as the rep I need to sign Section C... I'm not the rep though. And all correspondence comes to me and not my wife. So somewhere these incompetent fools convinced themselves that we submitted a non existent rep form. There are also several errors about our app and info in gcms
Ohh wow!! I'm sorry to hear that about that applicant.
ImABule was reading the GCMS notes forum and I read you have DM on sponsor's side and queue for an interview, my husband's side also stated DM since the beginning, he is a naturalized Canadian citizen and that DM is for his canadian citizenship application. The DM on sponsor's side has nothing to do with the applicant's DM. I hope this information helps you or any one. Best of luck to you and your wife on the interview!
Either way you're right CIC is a bit incompetent, I've been requested 3 times for pictures (I've made sure they all meet the requirements), I'm sending this weekend the new batch of pictures, with the medical exams and passport.
So frustrating!

Yeah I know. People on that thread are trying to say that DM on sponsor side means ppr is coming... I posted to say that's not the case.

My wife filled the consent form exactly as we always have and ignored the rep signature field. We recieved an email 3 weeks later saying they can't process my request for the notes that my wife consented to be released to me because I didn't sign the rep portion of the form.... I'm not her rep. We didn't submit the rep form with our app. Now I know my suspicions were correct and why gcms shows my wife's email and phone number as mine and why I got AOR2 and interview letter instead of my wife...

CIC is incompetent.

I also got a message saying "The consent provided was not signed by the designated individual (my name) in sub-section 4, section C. Therefore, a new consent from (my wife's name) is required to process your request."

They're asking me to sign the "rep" part even tho we didnt hire a rep. So, what should i do?

Fill out new form and print it sign it scan it and send it to them.

The correspondence was meant for my wife, but i got it since i put my email.

They're asking my wife to fill out section A and sign it. And put my infos in section C and that i should sign it. Plz tell me i dont have to wait 30 days again.

Better not.. they waited 21 days to email me that they want a new form. I sent it the next day. Today was day 31 and I emailed them again saying 30 days has passed ans I want my notes in not so many words

I meant correspondence like AOR2 etc

I hope you get your notes soon. But tell me did you sign the rep part?

I didn't want to argue with them that they have mistakenly made me the rep (I got AOR2 and interview letter addressed to the applicant, and my wife's contact info in gcms is mine- email, phone..) so I just signed it and sent it back.

Momo2016 print out the consent letter, section A fill it out with the applicant's information, in this case I believe is your wife because she is being sponsored by you. Section C fill it out with the sponsor's information, your information if you are the one sponsoring your wife, doesn't matter if you don't have a representative. Scan it and attach it to the email they sent you. Best of luck!

I read somewhere that your wife got the interview right after thry ask you to resubmitted the consent form.

But the representative does matter in my case. After all, it's the reason why they asked me to resubmit a new form (this time the rep part must be sign by me).

me too. checked today, and found out the PA status changed to DM:

Sponsorship Application Status
Decision Made

Permanent Residence Application Status
In Process

Hopefully passport request down the road.

By the way, I always have a DM under my canadian citizenship application. This DM is not related to the sponsorship application. Just want to clear the air.
