How long it takes? From sending to receiving your passport?

It varies by VO. Singapore is average 4 weeks. Not sure about Rabat.

Ok thanks

If there are any Feb 2016 spousal applicants who are processing through the Mexico City Visa Office, please say hello in the Mexico forum here on Canadavisa and add your timeline info to the Mexico Timeline spreadsheet (see my sig line).

I'm not here to p!ss anyone off, but merely to inform..

I received an email from CIC saying that I needed to send in new pictures for my PR Card for them to process as my photos had expired.. (it hasn't been 6months since having them taken so not sure how they expired) - I did call them around 2 weeks ago to be told nothing was wrong and that I should hopefully receive the card soon. They sent a message to the processing centre to give them a NUDGE to get the process moving.

So just wanted to let anyone know who is or will eventually be waiting for their PR card, don't freak if you don't receive it.. if you've waited longer than the processing time for PR card, then call and get them to give the CPC a nudge.. I am hoping to receive this card within the next 4-6 weeks so that I can go to Australia without having to worry about returning without one and getting PR documents etc.

Wow. That sucks man.

How can they make you submit new photos when it specifically says they are valid if taken within the past 6 months.

Hope you get your card soon.

I hear you man - it does suck, but I won't b!tch about it.. I just wanted to alert people to this as it may be something people come across.. and funny enough, as I was having my photos taken and mailed at London Drugs ($13 for photos and $20 for express post - shaking my head at postal costs in canada), there was an Indian couple with the EXACT same letter as me doing the exact same thing.. so it may be a commonality in the process.

I hope your process kicks along soon enough as well as everyone else on this board.

Canada Post sucks too loll.

Yeah, I'm getting sick of waiting.

Almost 6 months and not a word from SVO.

GCMS notes still say "Not Started" on everything but medical.

Will be catching a flight to Jakarta soon enough if this keeps up lol.

They suck in a big way.. i can't stand them!

I don't blame you for wanting to catch that flight my friend.. there's only so much a person or heart can take. I really hope this stuff kicks on sooner rather than later. Even just communication to give you an indication would be great.

Hang in there bro.

Thanks man.

I visited my wife in March and haven't seen her since. I've been putting off my last two weeks vacation to go get my wife when she gets the visa but I'm getting impatient now.

The length of what we sent in was two letters and Skype call logs since 2012. That's all we sent. The call logs were 12 pages long and the letters were 4 pages long. Short and sweet :)
hey mega_option101, when did they ask you to pay for pr card? Your timeline is pretty sweet! It took you only 2 months at Warsaw.

I paid for it alll when I sent in my application; therefore, I did not get this request.

Just a question about COPR and conditions

If we would be subject to Condition 51 - would it say it on the COPR after "Conditions"? Ours says:

00: None

But just wanted to double check that 51 wasn't something that is just always implied or something.

Thanks!

Gotcha, thank you very much! I wish I would pay before as well. Just wondering is there a chance to pay it now without request from VO...
