I just FedExed off my Dutch Police Certificate, so hopefully I'll hear soon as that was the last piece of the puzzle (and I couldn't submit it with the initial application). Surprisingly, the Dutch Ministry of Justice processed my Police Certificate really quickly, mailing it the day after they received payment. If only the FBI were that efficient!

Can someone remind me again where in the process Police Certificates are? Near the end?

I may be wrong but as per my own experience for Spouse cases the PCCs form integral part of the basic documentation hence come into picture at AOR2 level. I got request for PCCs 2 weeks after i got that third line in sponsored's side - We have started to process your application.

So i understand from my own case that they put your file on hold while waiting for the PCC as for them for spouse cases it is an initial basic requirement when they start processing Sponsored spouse's application.

Again, this is solely my own thoughts and comments.

Thanks for the quick reply, truthprev. I got my third line a while ago – maybe April 8th? – so it seems like they've progressed past that. I'm hoping (although I have no evidence for this and it's probably wishful thinking!) that everything else is done, so it's just a matter of ticking that PCC box.

No worries. We got our third line 5th April and reqeust for updated PCCs and medical on 27th, and 3 to 4 days later the forth line that we have sent you a documentation request.

I would want to do that wishful thinking too SIGH!!!! but i guess in your case it could be true that they have progressed past that as they requested for additional docs 2 months later. Ottawa is one of the fastest VO this season - doing DMs 3 monthish.

And about quick response - ever since we have applied, this site and the Canadian immigration site are always open and refreshed on my laptop:D

Sorry truthprev, I misread your original post. I thought you meant you got your PCC/medical request before AOR2. Have you submitted your extra documents yet? Are you also at CPC-Ottawa? Strangely, we never got a fourth line on ECAS about their request for extra documents. Perhaps they are slow at updating it? I think our case is quite straightforward (besides the quirky Dutch PCC) and Ottawa is moving quickly, so I'm remaining optimistic! I'll keep my fingers crossed that your DM arrives soon, too!

Got DM today from Warsaw :D

That's awesome!!!! Congratulations! Knew you'd get DM quickly!!!. Will send pics from Warsaw since we will be there in a few weeks for the interview...husband is stressed out but I'm cool with it, we have a solid case. Plus my 22 year old son is coming as well to support husband on interview day. Husband leaves for Warsaw on Monday, since his TRV expires Tuesday. My son and I are leaving and will be there about a week before the interview, hoping to alleviate some stress that way.

I wish I could be the one doing the interview! They don't even let us into the embassy, so will be lots of stress just waiting a few doors down that day for sure! I seriously don't know why they call interviews without letting the spouse even into the building. Seriously?

But the good thing is that Warsaw moves quickly so I am quite sure this is the last step. All they are asking for is original birth certificates, original marriage certificate and proof we are living together. That's it, so will take that as a positive. My husband however is still stressing beyond belief. I think being in Warsaw with him the day of the interview, along with my son, should help. Fingers crossed!

I have not yet submitted the requested Docs because we have to provide the PCCs from more than a couple of countries, so it will take some time. I have informed them through Case specific query about this. So, i am keeping my fingers and toes crossed because they mentioned 60 days deadline to provide these docs and we will for sure cross this. That;s why the case specific query so that they are aware that we are already applied for these docs and consider the delay:(:(:(...
ours is Ankara VO.
Yes you should remain optimistic if Ottawa asks after 2 months the PCC that for me 90% means that within 1 week of submitting your PCC you d hear DM.

Does the PA or the Sponsor get the CoPR? From what I read on here I thought it was the sponsor but my SO (who is the PA) got what I'm pretty sure is her CoPR in the mail today. Do I need to wait for anything to be mailed to me as the sponsor?

No that's right, the principle applicant receives their own confirmation of permanent residency!
That's all she will need to land!
