If I had it my way - we would all be getting DM today :D

First thing that I did was to call my wife and tell her the news (and to check the mailbox daily from now on) :P

Haha I believe it!
I've been tempted to prank call my husband and say we got DM, but i feel like that would jinx us :-[

It's just hard to see people from Visa Offices that show processing Times over 10 months get their DM's and we are supposed to be the 2nd fastest with 9 months, and none of us have heard from Lima. Not even applicants who have sent their application in December. It's just all very odd. O well!

Have you ordered your notes yet?

Yes, we ordered them 2 weeks ago. All we can do at this point is wait!

I hope that you get some more answers when you get them.

We ordered ours April 12th, got them May 13th. This is when we found out they sent our application to Warsaw (not Mississauga like our SA letter said). However, based on the notes which were generated on April 13th - our application was not assigned to anyone (no one was working on it).

So it really did not take them a long time.

My theory is that they are waiting for a certain number of DM's to send them out in a batch. And considering our VO isn't very busy, it looks like it's taking a while.

The reason why i think this, is because looking at last years Lima Spreadsheet, they got passport request on the same day even tho they applied in different months

That's unfortunate - not sure what the point is in going this route :/

I received COPR today! I received DM around April 26th I think it was. I looked at the envelope and the letter was post marked April 29th. Not sure why it took so long for me receive it since I'm in Ontario and my VO is in Ottawa. But I'm happy to finally have it. I am already in Canada, so I booked a flight home (to the states) in June for s couple of days and then when I come back through into Canada I'll officially land. It's a great day!
Congrats! I wonder why this mail took such a long time?

I just FedExed off my Dutch Police Certificate, so hopefully I'll hear soon as that was the last piece of the puzzle (and I couldn't submit it with the initial application). Surprisingly, the Dutch Ministry of Justice processed my Police Certificate really quickly, mailing it the day after they received payment. If only the FBI were that efficient!

Can someone remind me again where in the process Police Certificates are? Near the end?
