What I don't understand is, people at NDVO have been waiting for months and months, Last summers aplicants still haven't heard anything ya know? If they have a new way of doing things, shouldn't they clean up the backlogs first? I just know, If i was waiting for 8 months, and someone from 2 months ago gets DM, i would not be a happy camper.Decoy24601 said:I agree. I doubt it has much to do with the PA being in Canada. It could be possible that the NDVO has hired more case processors recently or that CIC case processors in general have been instructed to process cases a little differently. I remember the immigration minister saying something about having learned something from processing so many syrian refugee cases in such a short amount of time and applying it to family class applications, but I haven't seen anything to confirm this has actually happened.
Either way, I'm optimistic that we may be seeing the start of faster processing times.
