Received my COPR in the mail today! I figured it wouldn't take long seeming Michigan isn't very far.

It's valid until January of next year, one year from the date I completed my medical.

Now, a quick question: I was already planning to visit my husband this Saturday (taking bus across border), and staying for the Islamic holidays of Ramadhan & Eid, then we would return to the US to get all my things and confirm my residency together (so sometime in July). We would do it now, but with Ramadhan coming up we'd rather wait until after. And I think it'd be much easier to cross the border with all of my belongings while confirming my PR rather than after. Is this OK even though I've already been issued COPR?

What time of the day did you receive the letter? I had my wife check the mailbox at 1.30pm! I really hope it arrives this week

I checked the mail around 2pm and it was there, but our mail lady usually comes earlier than that so it was probably there a bit before I checked

You get two copies in the mail of your CSQ. One is meant for CIC (numbered "3"). This is the one you need to send in if they have requested it.

The reason they sent you two copies is exactly for this reason (one you keep for yourself - to get your RAMQ and other services such as language classes) and the other is to send to CIC if they request it. I do not think you can send in a scanned copy as they will most likely ask you for the original.

After some contemplation and discussion, we've decided to complete the landing this weekend rather than waiting. My personal belongings aren't too many anyway, so filling out b4 shouldn't be an issue.

Our PR Application status is "In Process" and we have 3 lines, basically saying:
1. they receive the applicant's application for PR on Feb 22, 2016
2. they started processing the application on April 20, 2016
3. Medical results received.

Should we be expecting any email for AOR2??

and we still haven't received any AOR2 from Manila VO

I'm assuming its just the electronic notes from the officer? Or my application, supporting documents and all correspondence?
What am I supposed to be asking for here?

Same here...We got 3 lines as shown below:

1. they receive the applicant's application for PR on Feb 26, 2016
2. they started processing the application on April 11, 2016
3. Medical results received.

But we haven't received AOR2 or any email from Manila VO. Hmmmm... I am just wondering , haven't they really send AOR2?

Is there a typical time frame from SA to AOR2? I'm coming up to 3 weeks since SA and still don't have that third line in ecas. Should I be worried or need to contact anyone yet? (and when/whom would be appropriate?)
