Mega can you help me please:
I received addtional docs request today: the csq and RPRF.
I have a few questions:
1-They asked me to mail the RPRF to mississauga is that normal?
2-Does the additional docs request means they are working on the application?
3-and if they are working on it do they stop processing the application and wait for the papers or they continue normally?
Your helo is so much appreciated

The process is as follows after AOR2:

Additional Document Requests -> Criminal Check -> Interview (may be waived) -> Passport Request -> Visa

I would say that if you got document requests then there is a good chance that they are processing your application. There are things they can do to your application without the CSQ - so don't worry, it won't make them stop.

Make sure you send the payment as soon as you can.

Hi all,

I received my SA yesterday.
I had sent my Outland file on feb 4.

My spouse is staying with me here in Toronto. She is currently on post graduate work permit(which got approved recently till March 2017).

I was expecting that because she is already in canada file should have been sent to ottawa, but in the SA email, I received yesterday, they have sent it to New Delhi (home country).

Does anyone have similar experience who have their spouse in canada and file is sent back home and not ottawa ?

Me too I am living in Canada as a visitor and we did Outland sponsorship so they send my Application to Rabat (home country ) ☺☺
So the inconvenient of that if there is an interview we must go to our VO (but as I read in this forum Outland interview for red flag if they are not sure of the relationship....)

Good luck to us

Interesting...

My wife is here with me in Canada and instead of sending it to Warsaw (Home Country), they are processing it here in Mississauga. I do not think that it has anything to do with the fact that she is here with me in Canada though. I was expecting it to get sent to Warsaw.

Ottawa has been hiring more case processors, so it's possible that they might be taking more applications from other VOs to help their backlog. Maybe they are trying to even out processing times across all visa offices and are trying to make things more efficient overall. I don't know, but it's an idea.

Certainly could be possible. However, I doubt it has anything to do with the principal applicants status within Canada.

Hello February team,

Congrats to those who received good news throughout this week.

Unique and those who are still waiting, I hope you get Good news next week!

Mega or anyone that know the answer I have a question, my husband just got an opportunity to be promoted but in another company, he asked me if that would have any problem with the application, he has until Monday to accept the job. Will that affect in anything with the application? Do we have to inform it?

Thanks!!!

It won't effect your application :)

Unless he was to go on social assistance. That is the only thing that could jeopardize your application.

Hi guys, i have received my aor1 already on march 21 already and regarding on medical exam do i have to wait for a Medical Request? I have read on the SA Letter quoting

Requirement for Medical Examination: If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Upfront Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination and, once completed, forward this information directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application.

You can send it in now if you like - no need to wait for the medical request.

As per my call to CIC customer care they have confirmed, that if the spouse is already in Canada, the file will be sent to Ottawa.

My spouse is here in Canada with me, and our file was not sent to Ottawa. I can only speak about my own experience.
