OK thanks. That's what I thought too since I never got an SA on my status. :)

Yeah, it won't show SA on the ecas.

My sponsor side still says In Process even though I received the SA email and my PA side says we received your application etc and medical results recieved but still says application recieved. No started processing or anything and no AOR2 email.

The Sponsor side doesn't always get updates. A lot of us still show "in process" on the Sponsor's side. Don't worry about that.
It sounds like your PA part of the application hasn't started processing yet. I think it took around two weeks after my SA that I saw the "in process" on my PA side.

It's been 19 days since SA for me :/

Wait, your timeline says April 5 for your file transfer. Am I reading something wrong?

Oh okay!! You shouldn't be waiting too much longer.

Hope not. This whole process is extremely drawn out. It shouldn't take more than a couple months to process a spouse sponsorship. I mean the criminality and security checks I understand take a bit of time but in the vast majority of cases it should be blatantly obvious the relationship is genuine. My application was 11lbs and we're about to send off another bunch of evidence from our recent holiday in Bali too. They would have to be stupid to question my marriage lol.

I only meant it shouldn't be much longer for you to see the "in process" on the PA side. The length of time it takes to get DM is really different for everyone. It took 5 months and a few weeks for me to get mine.
Hopefully yours won't take too long. It's just a waiting game!!

I knew what you meant, but what I was getting at is the already almost two months just to have the overseas VO acknowledge they received my application is ridiculous in itself.

Oh true!! I would love to know what really goes on behind the scenes. LOL

Hi guys!

Ok, i got an update on my Icas (Permanent Resident Application Status), now it says "In Process". Does it mean i got my AOR2?

As some of you may know, i had a problem with my UCI number but they fixed it last Tuesday (April 5). They also told me that my application was sent out to Paris next day, all this was by phone, as always.
At the same time i have never received any email with my SA...
However my partner's MP sent an email to CIC and they responded in three days with a note where you can read i received my SA on March 21.

So i don't know what to think :-\

Why? What's wrong with your UCI?

Because I also have a problem with my UCI... I got 2 UCI, the 1st was when I applied tourist visa and I have been using the UCI to check ecas...

The other UCI I have appeared on the email when I received SA...I tried to use this UCI to check my ecas but it doesn't work, it shows an error...

Do we have the case???

Hey DandM,
Are you logging in with sponsors information or applicant information? When you log in with the sponsor's info it shows both PR Application and Sponsorship Application, mean while with the Applicant info it only shows PR Application. I'm talking from my own expirience on ECAS, I don't really know if it's like that with the rest of sponssorships.

I got 2 UCI, the 1st was when I applied tourist visa and I have been using the UCI to check ecas...

The other UCI I have appeared on the email when I received SA...I tried to use this UCI to check my ecas but it doesn't work, it shows an error..

I'm worried..
