Just called. They said they will send an email to the officer but usually they don't respond for 2-3 weeks and apparently the call centre can only send emails like this once in three months, so basically they're telling me to keep waiting.

I'm gonna call again tomorrow to reach a different officer and again on Friday, just for the sake of trying. If I still don't hear by next Tuesday, then I think I should definitely be reaching out to an MP

Just an update to let you know that I just received my AOR1

Application received: March 4, 2016
AOR1 received: March 30, 2016

So much faster than I expected!

I tried to call twice today but the lines were too busy and it just hung up on me both times. I will try again later.
56 days and still no SA. 15 days since AOR1. :'(

LMG, congrats on the SA! I hope the number issue will get resolved quickly though.

We mailed our application in the beginning of January 2016. However it was returned to us at the beginning of February because my dumb self forgot to sign one of the forms. Anyway, we mailed it back on February 11 and it was received on February 12. We got an email of confirmation on March 17. We got SA on March 21. When I check the status online it says they started processing our application on March 16. It also tells us that the medicals have been received. Fingers crossed that the rest is a smooth ride out from here.

Received SA today! and was told application got transferred to HKVO....

I am currently in Canada with my husband, we sent out our application to Mississauga office, thought it would be processed in Ottawa office. The timeline for HKVO is just too long...

So I just got off the phone with CIC, and they told me that I got SA today and that the email should follow soon. I'M SO HAPPY!
I will update here as soon as I get the confirmation. Hopefully everyone from the same timeline who is still waiting will get the same good news in the coming days!

They told me i got my SA last Monday (March 21), but i have not received any email yet. I guess i will not get any update till they fix the problems with the UCI numbers.

It's weird they told you that because they can check your application.

Did you try to call them again? Sometimes it takes a couple phones calls till you get to talk with someone who really wants to help you. I had to deal with few rude CIC Agents.
