Hello guys,

I just want to ask regarding CSQ (Quebec), can I send my docs through fax to my sponsor? or in your case guys, how did you send your docs?

I am not an expert but as mega_option101 said they require the original with sponsored person's signature. I wouldn't risk it sending a scanned or faxed document.

My wife sent them to me in the mail. Didn't want to take any chances with them asking for originals (for the signature). Or else she would have sent them scanned to me and I would have printed them off.

One question, will the VO wait for the application for CSQ to be approved before they start the processing the application for PR or will they start the process even though the application for CSQ is still in process? Both Sponsor and PR are showing in process but the 3rd line hasn't come out yet.

They will start processing it without the CSQ

They may ask for it at the late stages of their decision making process; however, I have heard of instances where they gave Decision Made even before receiving the CSQ.

They may ask for it at the late stages of their decision making process; however, I have heard of instances where they gave Decision Made even before receiving the CSQ.

Thats great! We're still waiting for the AOR from VO. SA was approved last March 21, 2016. Do you have any idea how long will it take for the for the Application for CSQ to be approved?

Here's what's happening with my application.

I now have the sponsor approval from the government. That being said, something is happening. Due to our previous application, i have two UCI (Unique Client Id) numbers when there should only be one. Even when you apply previously, you only have one number but for some reason i have two. This means that I don't have the email regarding the sponsor approval even though it was confirmed on the phone today. This means it will not be sent to Paris until it is resolved. They claim that this issue has the highest priority but there is no way to confirm that. Once it is in Paris, they then have to confirm my Police checks and medical checks. I have done this already so I hope it will go fast once it is there.

I'm gonna call them before lunch today (Pacific time). I haven't submitted any applications before other than my citizenship application which was over 8 years ago so hopefully there aren't any similar issues like yours. That being said, there could very well be some other complicating factor for my application.....

Application received: March 4, 2016
AOR1 received: March 30, 2016

So much faster than I expected!

Keep an eye out for when they process your payment. Usually takes 1-2 weeks for that to happen then it will take ~ 25 working days after this.
