I am so excited to see who will be getting AOR's & SA's today! I noticed the emailed usually roll in around 1PM (Central Daylight Time) which is in an hour! This is like Christmas every day!! Good Luck to everyone today and the rest of this week!! ;D

Anyone know how long it takes for ECAS to update after SA has been received?

So I'm getting a teeny bit anxious for not receiving the SA at this point - 6 days has passed since AOR1 (and 42 days since application received)

If SA is still pending tomorrow, would it be too early to call CIC on Thursday - given that there's a 4-day long weekend coming up?

Glory to God I just recieved my Sponsorship approval some minutes ago ;D ;D

I was entering my husband's info and UCI. I finally logged in a couple of minutes ago. Yeayyy!!
On the document that they send of the SA, it talks about the medical exams:

"Requirement for Medical Examination

If your sponsored relative(s) has (have) not already done so, your relative(s) must provide an original Upfront Medical Report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Up-front Medical Notification information sheet. Your relative(s) must complete the medical examination and, once completed, email the information directly to the visa office noted above using the “case-specific” enquiries form (link above) along with a copy of this letter. If you have not already submitted a medical, your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must forward the medical information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application."

mine expired a couple of days ago, should I take them again now an send it to my visa office as an enquiry or just wait until they ask for them?

There is nothing preventing you from doing them now - as you have a case file number.

Glad that it worked out for you in the end :)

Dear forum members,

i am new on this forum and I need to ask you one question to help me find best way.
I send my application in February and after 39 days my wife got SA and they transfer my files in Vienna. After we send application I came to visit my wife in Canada and I am with her and waiting for my PR.

My questions are:

1. Is it mandatory to go in Vienna on interview, or they call just some, not all?
2. Can I change my address and ask them to all documentation send my on my wife address in Canada?
3. Am I in obligation to send passport for visa, if I have valid visa in, or COPR is not something that goes in passport is that documents?
4. Can someone send me those documents in Canada, in case they arrived in my address outside?

Basically, Can i stay in Canada and wait to get my PR and activate COPR, in case they approve me before i plan to leave?

Wish you all luck in you application and thanks for assistence.

It depends on the Case Agent who is assigned to treat your application. Processing times can vary.
