Hello there, don't worry about the forms being the old version what they would do is whenever they ask for the background check they would also ask for to update the forms. I have that same problem, we were supposed to file our application on October but many things happened that made us file it until this month.

Do you guys know how do you receive the AOR1? Is it to your sponsor's address or to his/her email or to yours?

I never even received aorq, I only received an email once I was approved to sponsor.. My ecas was not even updated until this January when they requested an updated schedule a. So, don't worry too much if you don't receive updates regularly!!

Package is delivered on Feb 23, 2016.

Hi Plz need help

My wife got option c printout on Dec 14 and we were going to send application on Feb but i notice an update in checklist form IMM 5491
the new update is IMM 5491 ( 02-2016 ) and in the Item 17, CIC change Option c prinout to Notice of Assessment that can view and print online trought CRA website .

My question i still can send the option c printout that my wife got by mail or need Notice of Assessment ?

Online or mailed version of Option C both will be valid, You can choose either one.

Online version of Option C will not show your home address. I submitted the mailed version of Option C. I hope this will answer your question.

and on this update of form 5491 ( 02-2016) item 17 says Notice of Assessment

Hello Team,

I sponsored my spouse and sent her file away on 16th feb2016 received by mississauga office on 17th feb.

1) My wife came to canada as pr in 2003 as dependant but the whole family went back after couple of months. I have included her old passport with immigrant stamp in the file. Now is immigration officer going to ask us about old pr or even ask us to renounce the old pr first.I have asked few agents and everybody is giving us a different opinion. ALso can I apply for her tourist visa ?

2) I took my oath on 17th feb as a canadian citizen. when can i update them about this as it was only day after I sent my file away. Anyone? thanks
