Hi everyone! COPR received today. We will be landing on january 1st in Montreal (I updated the spreadsheet).

Wife got an email from VO HK yesterday asking for medical report. She did that late last November, and the PR status also showed they have received the medical result.

I am not sure why they asked for a new one while the previous one is still valid. Do you guys run into same problem?

So frustrated! The new one costs both time and money.

My husbands medical will expire November too since he did his last year, but didnt recieve re medical email yet. Should we just wait till they ask for it?

[contact your visa office and ask for an extension, if this doesn't work redo medical.]

Just received the notes. the last update on it is on 20th Aug and it says please request Passport. We have not received anything so far, it's been well over 2 months. Should I do a Case specific inquiry? or just wait, or any other suggestion you may have for me will be very much appreciated.. thanks

I would suggest you wait for the update. If you do it early, the new one will also expire early. Or if they give your DM right away, you might not even need to redo the medical.

Thanks Bule, i appreciate your support. I just want to make sure that I explained myself correctly in my message - The bit in the notes which said Please request Passport seems to be for the next officer or may be Mississauga office. So, in the CSE, should i like simply ask them it's been over 2 months that our file has been finalized and it is due for a PPR, could you please update us or let us know... It may sound a very simple task which should not need help or advise, but as you know the implications that's why wanna make sure and asking.

hey all just giving an update we are February 5th 2016 applicants..Kingston visa office...my husband recieved passport request October 24th. Hopefully the wait is almost over.

Praying for speedy processing for everyone...I know it's difficult to wait but let's keep the faith!!!
