So I sent in another application today since the member of parliament called and told me they can't find the one I sent Feb 6 after a month investigation grr so here is round 2 and I sent a letter also the member of parliament suggested me too explain that I already sent one in.. so let's hope they have some consideration and expedite my application I'm praying, it wasn't my fault!...Oh and this time I sent it fed ex not purolator... just when you think it can't happened it happens only me

I really hope for the best to you specially with such a harsh situation.

I can only say we have patience for our goal regardless of how tough things will be

I still don't have AOR or SA. We sent our application on Feb 16 and they received it on Feb 24. Surely we should have received AOR and SA by now? We are technically outside of the processing time now, by about 2 weeks.

My wife is my sponsor. Will the AOR and SA go to her email address or mine?

I wish they would just update me to tell me what's going on...

hello, my huzzie and i were in ur exact position and received AOR on 5.5.15 and SA yesterday. my husband is my sponsor. we got no email telling us of AOR but my husband called cic and they told him that we have received AOR and a letter would follow regarding our decision for SA. the letter was emailed to my husband yesterday. note that after the cic agent told us that we received AOR we went to ECAS and was able to view our file info with my husbands name and date of birth and his UCI/receipt payment number

For those trying to call the 1-800 number from outside Canada, have you tried a callback service? I can't test it myself, but I used to use:

Congrats to those of you just getting SA!!

I find this to be one of the more frustrating parts of the process so far. After the app is transferred to your VO, this is the longest stretch we go without hearing anything. I sent in my e-medical but who knows when ECAS will ever update to reflect that? And I have a couple months left to wait before my FBI clearance comes in. Trying to wait as patiently as I can, but it gets difficult!!

We have almost identical timelines - ours was received on the 24 Feb, we recieved AOR on Apr 10, but it has taken four phone calls to find out scraps of info. And each time the info changes which doesn't help. Give them a call and see how it goes
