Wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

We received AOR on my husbands application on April 7 but when I got the letter with the AOR we noticed that they made a mistake with my husbands name. My dad who lives in Canada and who is supposed to be our representative called to correct the error in my husbands name and he was told that they lost the Use of Representative form and to send a copy of my husbands passport (again). We sent those forms last week. Today we received SA and guess what: my husbands name is still wrong. The application has been sent to the Cairo visa office so should I call them or should my dad call the CPC to figure the whole thing out.
I have no idea how they made the mistake they made, the whole application has my husbands name written correctly but the correspondence that they've sent me has his mother's name before his name. Such a bizarre mistake.
Anyways if anyone has suggestions about how we can fix this ASAP I would really appreciate it.

Thank you so much, and good luck to everyone!!

Asalamu Alekum

Calling CIC is close to useless. I assume you know the Egypt VO address, so send them a mail with a cover letter staying the details.

With all due respect, why don't you write down your question?
It may help lots of users in the near future. :D

All its saying is you were approved as the sponsor which is great, congrats, now your case has been forwarded to the office of the spouse for the final phase. Now that your background checks have been completed, they are now turning to your other half for a review. Should all go well with no blips you will get the green light to go :) The meds just states they received it and when they background check the other spouse they will call up the medical file you provided .

The SA letter is generic, and says if you haven't done a medical, you need to do it. You have already done it, so this doesn't apply.

The eCAS status is specific, and says they have received your medical.

By the way, you didn't expunge your mailing address, and reading "Opposite Defence Colony" made me picture that you live in a colony for defence of the opposite. ;)

I am still also waiting for the letter they sent April 20. I wish they just emailed us as that is what we had requested. Patience is a virtue.

Hi. Email CIC at cpcm-extcom@cic.gc.ca. This email address is used if you need to correct information on your application. Tell them that they have made a mistake on your husband's name. Make sure to indicate you UCI or Application number. In addition, send them a letter via mail stating the situation. Thanks. I hope this helps.

Did you check your inbox or your junk mail? I also had the same status as yours "we have sent you a letter on April 16." But they never did. Instead, they emailed me the copy of the decision via email on April 21st.

It took me 7 days to receive the letter they sent me, and I live in Mississauga -_- So definitely remain patient; it'll make its way to you eventually.
