I sent it too the right address the immigration place told me..
but everyone says something different so god knows.. and Chen I'll more then treasure it once I get approved that's for sure.. I'll probably drop dead even if they find my application Lol
I also sent my application from Jamaica cause I was visiting my husband at the time. I'm not sure if that's the confusion or what.. but I'm sure there are other people that live abroad with there husband/wife that send there application from there too Canadian embassy...

Hoooooraaay!!!
You guys, I am so so happy today. I was finally able to get to CIC (calling from outside of Canada). We didn't have any news, no AOR, nothing, yet docs were delivered on Feb 13th. I was getting extremely worried about this. Today I talked to an agent. She confirmed the have our app, gave me UCI number and File #. They started processing file on April 7th. I was able to log in and see it is in process now, medicals are received. Hooray!
I am so relieved!
Now waiting for SA with a lighter heart

I received AOR with app # , no UCI, nothing.

call center was not able to give me the UCI # ,
but told me that my app was INLAND, not OUTLAND.

They told me to send an email to Missisauga, which i did, but is there any other way ?.

Unfortunately not in this case, not sure about fax? but that's about all you can do, or write to them and post, that's your choices really.

I just called CIC because,

The same thing happened to me took over a month and half after AOR before they corrected my application and gave me SA, all I can say is, keep calling and find an agent that will send a message to the right person at CIC to have them transfer the file to the outland queue. My app was placed in the inland que by an incomptent receptionist, I got my sponsor's minister of parliment involved to help assist, but call CIC right away and tell the agent to send a message for clarification, all i can tell you is it will take some time for you to reach the right person, but keep persisting which is what i did, i would also phone your MP's office asap to get them involved as they have special contacts at CIC also double check all the forms you submitted to make sure you did not fill out the incorrect form, btw where did you send the application.

Yes that was for the first stage, sponsorship approval. I wish it was for the whole application lol!!

Agreed on not using Canada post! I used fed ex, the price was great and got there the next day with signature and no problems!

I sent via Canada Post it turned out fine just make sure, you pay for the signature and tracking option. The adress is:
