Thanks, yea we've got our fingers crossed that they only request the updated form. We're expecting the worst but hoping for the best so we'll see what happens!DanSlh said:Wait and see.
CIC can only ask the updated form.
You never know.

rhcohen2014 said:it's currently taking 65ish days for the first stage to be complete. you will not hear anything until they start processing the sponsor's file in 65ish days. More than likely, you will not be able to sign into the ECAS system until AFTER sponsor approval (SA) has been given. Receipt numbers do not work to sign in, only UCI and file numbers do, which most people don't get until sponsor approval.

there is no need to add a pregnancy to your application or notify the visa office. the only time it's necessary to add a new addition to the family is after the baby is born and before approval/landing. cic doesn't much care about pregnancies. they only care when the baby is born. so there's no need to do anything until the baby is born.hossmal said:Hello everyone,
How can I add that information to my file?
no, it does nothing to speed up the process.hossmal said:Also does anyone know if being pregnant might speed up the processing time?
yes, it is possible to apply for a visitor's visa to canada while a pr application is submitted. one thing has nothing to do with the other. it is very difficult to get approved for a visitor's visa when the person is married to a canadian. the applicant needs to prove significant ties to their home country and show there is no likleyhood they would overstay the visa. while it's tough, it's not impossible, and some applicants have success doing this. the approval/rejection of a visitor's visa will not impact the pr application.hossmal said:Another thing that I have thought of is applying for a TRV for my husband, does anyone know if TRVs are accepted for someone who has an ongoing PR application?
Thanks Sheps, that makes me feel much better. I hope they have the common sense of letting people who sent the form before the 25th of Feb off the hook.Sheps said:The new form was uploaded on the 25th I believe (don't worry, I sent it, checked here a week later and was like "crap, new form", but after some digging found it was uploaded on the 25th).
They might make you send a new one, but I am not sure (Even though it wasn't changed before you submitted, you never know what they might ask you to do).
