It all depends on this month of july.
If they are able to start processing jan applicants this month then next month we should expect something

I quite agree with you Darksiders. Staying positive is the key! And yes it is a case-by-case basis.

I am a Feb applicant and inland too. In the month of March, I received email specifically requesting for some extra information and a submission of the PCC from my native country. My RPRF was paid and submitted along with my application. Note the statement - a detailed descriptive email was sent to me and not some generic one in March regarding these extra information.

our office is currently on CIO-S i already send email to CPP ottawa then here in manila philippines they both refer to CIO-S i know what your saying that CIO NS is not a visa office but have you ask yourself or have you try to send email to CPP ottawa you might be shocked what they are going to say to you according to AOR they will transfer the files to a visa office right? but our papers all of us are still on CIO-S and later it will be processed to CPC-ottawa or depending where you request the files to be transferred to im an inland applicant

Yup that's true. I came across that too. My AOR said my application will be transferred to visa office but later in the response they told me my file was still in Nova Scotia. So i figured they don;t change your status to IN process on ECAS until they actually physically transfer your file to ottawa and start working on your file. But where are you?? Manila or Canada. If you are in Canada, your application has to be processed through CPC-Ottawa. You don't really have a choice in this matter. Correct me if i am wrong ;D

if im not mistaken prprpr thats true if your currently in canada your papers will be transferred on CPP-ottawa but on IMM 0008 on the 1st page on the upper right hand corner it shows there immigration office requested for processing this application people in the philippines or anywhere can request their papers to be transferred to their native country

i believe they put that box there for purpose right? so if you requested to transfer it for example in manila the processing time is 12 months while on CPP ottawa is 17 months i rather choose my home country

but we choose CPP ottawa over manila

keep positive stay positive guys

everyone will be have their chance to land in canada :)

My two cents everyone -

I am a march applicant and requested my application to be sent to Sydney Australia based on my citizenship - I am a new zealander. I called CIC and was told that my application will be processed in Nova Scotia. A lot of applicants are being processed here if you are in Canada and not every application wlll be transferred to Ottawa or to the country of ur residence/citizenship.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Hi cndvsa22
Did you not submit the police report at the time of application submission? IS that why they send you reminder for PCC? I am Feb applicant too but i have not received any reminder email from CIC. Starting to get a bit worried.
Please help!!

hey. i got same email and i received my aor on 7th may 2014 cic received my application on 31th march and still waiting on medicals .. my visa office i requested is paris.. which visa office is requested ?

Hi jazzysohal:

We are almost on the same time frame. I have indicated London as visa office but one of our forum mates told me that this may change based on CIO's preference.
We need to wait a few months more as based on the excel file, most applicants have to wait around 5 months for the Medical Request. I hope we will receive the MR soon.

File recived - 24 march
AOR and medical request- 24 April
Medical recived - 15 may
Rest things waiting -----:)-:)-:)-:)

@ Japy77: you are getting close... next they will ask you for PCC from your country of origin.
Can you tell us your visa office? It's quite interesting to see that the AOR and MR are sent on the same day - very efficient visa office :)

well im a very positive person unlike you that's all i can say staying positive and be positive at all times to be honest its case to case basis bro if you think you will be on AUGUST then its your call to think that way

our papers receive by CIO at feb 17 we got our medical request around march 15 to 17 after a week they request for additional requirements for my PCC in singapore and they request RPRF at the same time i have a colleague thats have the same timeline and currently in singapore same visa office which is CIO-s and she havent ask by CIO for RPRF and PCC

so its really case to case basis thats all i can say

i always think positive "always remember The secret and the law of attraction"

Both darksiders and patwal has a point here.

I totally agree with darksiders concerning positive outlook and the case by case scenario. However, I do understand the point that patwal is just stating a fact based on the timeline of the people in the excel sheet.

In God's perfect timing, we will all achieve our goal ;D

One of our forum mate has requested Manila to be his visa office in the application but CIO sent it to Abu Dhabi instead because it is close to where he is. This maybe one of those case to case basis, right? ;)

Hi Einna
That must be an inland application and visa office must be CPC-Ottawa. Same thing happened to me. I got AOR and MR on same day.

You guys are so lucky! But someone in the other forum said that things are moving sluggishly for inland applicants... so perhaps it is also a matter of selection - case by case.

I have a question though, inland applicants - does that mean you are staying in Canada using a temporary resident visa or student visa?

Hi Einna
We are not that lucky either. We get AOR and Medical within a month of applying and then i haven't heard anything so far. I submitted all my PC's
and fees with my application though. Its been 5 months and still waiting for IP. Hopefully good news is on its way. Yes, inland means the applicant is already in canada on a study or work permit.
