No bad idea!!! Do not apply for TRV. It will get rejected again because now that you applied for PR, now u can not prove at any cost that you will leave Canada. Better to wait for PR. IT should be here in few more months anyways. I know waiting seems forever but this is the best bet.
Good luck!!!

Thanks Buddy,

For your time and a good advise... Good luck for ur application too...
Waiting is really hard
. Specially if you waiting for someone....

Hello everyone
Did anyone in here submitted RCMP fingerprinting and criminal record check to CIC? This any of you get this request?
Please help

I did, and it's pretty messy. Make sure you do it electronically (after July 1st you will have no choice), and that the officer who takes your fingerprints knows how to submit it properly. I have had it rejected a couple of times because the application had errors. I think it eventually worked, because I can see in ECAS:

2 - We started processing your application in June 5, 2014.

Not completely sure yet though.

By the way, my AOR was in September 2013, MED done in December 2013, and fees paid in April 2014. I just got stuck with the RMCP Criminal Record Check. Not sure when my ECAS turned to In Progress (June 5 maybe?). Hope PPR comes soon.

Good luck

Thanks Japy77. No worries!!!!
Hmmm, they requested your RCMP? They didn't ask RCMP from me yet ??? ??? ???
What category of PNP did you apply for?
I applied if Feb ??? ??? ???
this RCMP requirement thing is a bit sketchy though!!!
Anyways keep updating your timeline
Hopefully we will have good news soon

As far as I know, not everybody is requested to submit a RCMP Criminal Record Check, it depends on your personal data. For instance, if your date of birth coincides with the date of birth of a criminal (they have an international criminals' fingerprints database), they will request you a RCMP Criminal Record Check based on your fingerprints to make sure you are not that criminal.

Prprpr,

I just want to ask if your CIO AOR states that your files has been transferred to your VO?

In one BOLD line it says following:

" Your application will be forwarded to visa office mentioned in this application. Any future inquiries should be directed to the visa office"

And When i called CIC call center after about 1 month this representative told me your file is still in Nova Scotia. So I am assuming they didnot transfer my file to visa office yet. I think but not sure ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

That's confusing.

My AOR does not mention if my file is being transferred.

Hi Einna
I am an inland applicant, meaning i am already in Canada. If you are not in Canada yet then your application will be processed a bit differently than the inland applicants. And also i had already paid all fees when i got my AOR. Not sure if that makes any difference. I am not sure what is your case but if you explain a bit more then i might be able to help.

if you apply in india then you follow this form http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/timeline-for-pnp-applicants-for-onlynew-delhi-visa-office-20122013-t139697.0.html

Hello,

If you are a PN and you apply to CIC. What is usually the timeline between when CIC got your application and when you will get AOR. I am talking about applicants outside Canada.

Anyone has an idea?

I sent it from Qatar - outside Canada. My AOR just said that it is being processed. Though when I check the ECAS it shows "Application received". I'm wondering if my application was forwarded to VO or was still being reviewed in CIC.

I don't think you will be required to provide a RCMP Criminal Record Check if you already submitted a FBI report, that should be enough.

My MED were submitted along with the MED of a girl who was in a similar situation (same PNP, same timelines...). She did the landing around 1 month ago. Don't loose your hope prprpr, you might not need to wait so long, every case is a different world I'd say
