February 2014 Outland Applications?

So I just opened our ecas as I do every morning and came upon this

A decision has been made on XXX's application. The office will contact XXX concerning this decision

Now Im both happy and confused.... The writting is so formal..... Its a good sign isn't it? Our file is pretty straight forward so I shouldnt worry but you never know.... If he would have been rejected would it say it?
How long before you are actually contacted by the office?

That's the wording they always use, my husband's said the same thing. I think before they reject, they give the applicant a chance to try to convince them otherwise either by asking for more documentation or an interview, so if you haven't had any of that, it should be a positive and you should see the CoPR in the mail soon.

what is this spreadsheet topic am seeing? what is it about?

my visa office for PR is Nairobi. They asked for my passport and i mailed it on 29th September 2014 and I promise this is so far has been the hardest part of the waiting! I was hoping to have my visa by now after a month of them having my passport. The same day that they asked for my passport they also requested my husband to pay for Right of Permanent Residence Fees to the Mississauga office. Oh my, what's taking them long?

Your husband can make the payment online and then he will receive a receipt via email. He can then email that receipt to the Nairobi visa office.

yesterday i found an update. Decision made!! undescribable joy only! i can finally start life with hubby. This has been the hardest part of the waiting. 6 years of long distance ain't funky!

Now they should contact me asap because I am itching! I should start parking.

The term is not CORP but rather COPR. I believe it stands for Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

Yes, all this wait is to get it.... the Confirmation of Permanent Residence,
that's the papers that you will need to take to the port of entry when you return
from your trip to USA for Christmas.... hopefully.
