February 2014 Outland Applications?

I really appreciate the answers that I got from here, but I do have another question.

If me and my wife just recently got married like a month ago, what name should I put on her application? Because on this one part, it was asking for her full name as exactly shown on her travel document which is her passport it's not yet updated with my last name and I think the expiration of her passport is not until 2015. I will appreciate some answers thank you!

use the name on her passport. if she gets an updated passport with her new name while you're in the middle of the application process you can send along the information to your VO with new copies of her passport etc.

It seems that in the cic office are stuck with some applications. Last summer they were faster, or they had less job...
I want to see this moving!

I guess we're a small little group! That's ok, less applications to process once they get to ours. Maybe it'll go faster. A girl can dream.

It does seem that a lot of people landed much faster in 2012 then over the last 12 months.

I'm from the January thread - we're getting our AOR's and SA's pretty quickly.. the link to the spreadsheet is in my signature. Typically expect to wait 29-31 days for AOR and SA soon after that.

Just wanted to post, Finished my application last weekend, waiting for review from our attorney. Hopefully it will be inorder and i would submit this week and join this group!!

I'm planning to go visit my husband in Canada early next month, so I guess I won't have the AOR by then, but fingers crossed for a nice officer at Toronto airport!

Hopefully everything goes fine in the airport for you. I already passed that situation and my advice is that you should get ready and practice any possible question and the answer. Try to tie all the knots beforehand and everything it will go just fine

My husband is coming to visit me tomorrow, actually! He's from the states. As long as you're polite I think it should be fine - when he flew up for our wedding he told the immigration officer he was getting married and they just said congrats and let him through. But having a return ticket is always good!
