I went to the post office nearby my place, and they gave my package a tracking number
So I assumed that they would at least respond through that.

I honestly don't know what to expect.

Did you check your tracking number online?

You will need to go to the Canada Post website and enter your tracking number and find the status of your package. If it was marked delivered then you can wait a little longer for a response, at least you know it is in the right place. Mississauga will not track the package.

I checked the status online and they have received it!!

And apparently they received it on the 15th of February.
So I guess all I can do now is wait.

Mine was delivered on feb 15th also. Which is my birthday btw. A good sign I gess. When I get AOR I'll post so we can compare timelines.

Hi guys and girls!

As of last night (February 26th 2013), I am joining the ranks of waiting and as most of you know already, my parcel was finally delivered-received at CIC-Mississauga after being cold and lonely in some Postal containers for over 19 days!

It was accepted by Bud Jamal...(Thank you Mr. Jamal and please take care of our package and keep it warm ;D )

Hi all!
I'm new in the forum but would like to join this conversation. Our application was delivered to Mississauga on February 12th, yesterday my husband got some confirmation email from them. He didn't tell me more specific about it yet (but i asked him to forward the email for me).. Is this the AOR everyone is talking about or something else? I'm so confused what we should be getting and when.. :

Oh and messenger: my application was accepted by Bud Jamal as well.. it's in good hands for sure!

Could I be added to the spreadsheet as well? My med was done Jan 22, I sent our app Jan 31, it was received Feb 13 (on Canada post webpage the date is Feb 12, but Feb 13 was mentioned on CIC's email for my hubby). My part will be processed in London.

I received my AOR last week and am assuming my application got sent to Sydney on the 21st, does anyone know if i'm supposed to get an AOR from Sydney also? And confirmation that Mississauga/Sydney received my medicals that were done the same day I sent my application?

Technically we should all get aor' s from our vo's but not all of them send it. Apparently sydney has a good rep for sending aor's but london doesn't. So expect one soon! But if u don't don't worry. Its out of your hands now and cic will process everything as needed.

As for the meds check ecas and it should say there when they receive it. Mine hasn't yet but I haven't got sa either. And dont rely on ecas. Its unreliable.

Yr meds will be transferred and your file is on its way to sydney if not already there!
