Very kind of you to her! :)

I myself am suffering from the same problem. Well, the CIC hasn't confirmed that they lost my application, but I am VERY afraid if they did.

I am a January 2013 applicant, and if you look at the Jan 2013 spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvI5l_hMO7UKdDEtTzVVZ2lzWmhRZzF6VzVfQWhBV2c#gid=0

you will see that I am LITERALLY the only one without an AOR or sponsorship approval.

My MP is investigating the case.....she talked to someone from the CPC-M office (the actual Mississauga office, not the 1-888-242-2100 Montreal call centre), and the lady at CPC-M apparently found my parcel tracking number within the CIC's computer database....so they're trying to find out where my parcel is, and why they haven't given me an AOR up till now...

Hopefully I won't get the dreaded "We are unable to locate your application at this time" letter =(

Fingers crossed that you don't get that email either! Just make sure you keep copies of everything you sent and keep a setailed log of when you send them, with tracking number, signatures, etc.

The difficult part will be compiling the relationship proofs.....our parcel was huge, 6,4 kg and almost 1000 pages....it would be a pain to have to start again from scratch =(

Just out of curiosity.(Sorry I haven't ready through the whole tread). Did anybody else from this group have there applications lost @ CPC-M delaying theire entire process?

I haven't heard that......February was a long delay too, our status started off at 55 days when we applied and the time line went up to 99 days, it was crazy.....

if I remember some documents were lost and/or misplaced and/or sent to the wrong VO for people in here

Hello! How are you guys holding on? No change here. I'm waiting for the GCMS notes, we sent the email on Feb 27th. Still haven't heard a word from the VO :'(

Hi Sweden

Please can you update the spreadsheet with my new info.

VO now wants my husbands finger prints. he has an appointment with New Scotland Yard on Monday to take those finger prints. After that VO said that we will hear from after 4 months (thinking of July now) :'( :'( :'( Seems like never ending :'( :'(.

I received the GCMS notes ??? ??? ???

There is no track of what happened between the moment they received the application (February) until August!

* 1st Aug 2012 (when we received a very strange AOR after a few days) Mississauga recreated our file because the old one was created under "Married" category. The funny part is they recreated it as "Common-Law", which is again a mistake!

* 6th Sept 2012 CSQ Received

* 12 Nov 2012 Meds Received. Medical assessment: Passed (valid until 17.07.2012, not June 1 when I had them done)

* 13 Nov 2012 They realize it's not Common-Law either, but Conjugal. Also Criminality check is started and fingerprint check initiated for me, the principal applicant

* 14 Nov 2012 No "reportable" trace of fingerprints for me

Application is In Progress, with Medical - Passed, Criminality - In Progress, Security - Not Started, Eligibility - Not Started. Of course the file is still under "Common-Law" marital status, they haven't updated it:'( :'( :'( All assessments are due Aug 2013.

I forgot to sign section A of the Additional Family Information form apparently. I will send them a new one once the babies are born anyway.

Hi Yasmine_GRL: "Application is In Progress, with Medical - Passed, Criminality - In Progress, Security - Not Started, Eligibility - Not Started. Of course the file is still under "Common-Law" marital status, they haven't updated it:'( :'( :'( All assessments are due Aug 2013)."

-- In my GCMS Note, I found: Application Status: Open, Application Status Reason:In Progress, Medical - Passed, Criminality - Not Started, Security - Not Started, Eligibility - Not Started.

Under Application Assignment due date: 2013/01/29, Eligibility Assessment Due Date: 2013/31/08. However, Surprisingly, I find - Criminality and Security Assessment Due Date: 2012/09/30. What do these "due dates" mean really ? Could you explain me little more please?? Thanks you so much in advance.

SORRY!! Yasmine_GRL: Eligibility Assessment Due Date: 2013/08/31

Hello saint4peace,

I'm not sure if the "due dates" are strict and have to be followed or are just for timeline orientation ;D theoretically they are suppose to finish assessing the the eligibility, security etc by then.

From what I found on the internet, the due dates are set for 1 year from when the file was created, I suppose it's something the system does by default/

Good luck!

WOW my ECAS has finally changed to "In Process as of March 19th, 2013" woohoo!
