chicke72's file was missing some documents and they did not get sent in until September of 2012.....she received her approval in October of 2012

Thanks KJG and chickie72. I appreciate. I was really puzzled over the timeline you mentioned. Now I am clear. I was curious b/c I sent some additional docs after 5 weeks of my file was transferred to my VO. So I got shocked seeing that your original file took (apparent not!) 8/9 months to tranfer!?! Anyway, I am relieved. Thanks again.

This says it will only work if you are in Canada. Are you?

Call Centre services (if you are in Canada only)

We are currently experiencing high call volumes and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. You should only contact the Call Centre if you have submitted an application from within Canada and:

the normal processing time for your application has passed and
you cannot verify the status of your application using the online application status tool or
you wish to report important changes about your application, such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, changes in address, changes in job status or
you need urgent processing or
you would like to make a refugee claim

Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100

Hopefully someone else can answer that for you as I am unsure, I looked on line but it doesn't give you a number to call from outside of Canada......Sorry I cant help you.

No I am in India , What to do now to contact them
You cannot. They changed it so if you are not in Canada, there is NO way to call whatsoever.

Actually if you know someone in Canada call them and ask them to 3 way the number then they can put themselves on mute and you can ask all the questions you want :) a little trick of the fade :)

ROFL... an underground pro... :P

Hey there my Sponsor approved, application transferred to KG. I was hoping someone can tell me how long it takes in Kingston to hear some good news back? I am hoping 3 months, I have notice the processing time in Canada has dropped a lot in the last couple of weeks and I am hoping that Kingston is the same but not up dated. Has your husband come across from Jamaica as of yet?
thank you :)

I forgot to say that we have been together since 2008 and got married Jan 2012. I sent in our application in June it was return because 1 form was changed, sent back in Sept 2012 and just got approved Nov 3, 2012. The email says it will be sent to kingston I am thinking it will be 2 week to get there. I just looking for a outline of how long I am looking at?
thanks again

you know truly, everyone is different in the time theirs takes. Kingston is a different VO then most and there is no rhyme nor reason to how they do their process. Some girls from 2011 still don't have "in process" on their ECAS and then some girls from 2012 do???? We were married in Jan 2012 also, app filed end of Feb returned in June, resent back in on Sept 17th and received AOR on Oct 4th....since then I haven't heard a thing from Kingson, but I do know my application is down there.. It is just a waiting game.

here is a link to the Kingston JA forum, there are alot of others on there going thru what we are going thru and they are helpful when you have questions....and they are helpful just for the friendships also.

Have faith and patience....that is about all I can tell you..

Blessings

Well my wife finally received a PPR. Sort of.
It is a copy from the one they sent Aug. 14, 2012, when her medical was NOT expired.
Now her medical expired, and we do not know if they will be extending and asking for a new one.
When copying us the A14 PPR, they didn't know her medical expired, so we are not sure if they are aware of this or not. If they were aware, maybe they would have updated their PPR to include a request for a medical?

So we're now talking about the medical.

Also her mail address on e-cas is correct, the mail address on the PPR is wrong.

I remember someone saying if the only thing holding the issuing of the Visa is the medical they can extend it
