Hi ThunderSoul, I was only logged in earlier to respond to your private messages as I got email notifications for them, but didn't read this thread so unfortunately I missed these questions you posted here, maybe things are a little clearer now but for the benefit of anyone else reading I'll answer the questions you posted in the thread too

Isn't this going to SLOW DOWN the current process of her application if we send additional forms?
No, it shouldn't slow down the processing as the Access to Information request is sent to a totally separate department in Canada and all they do is log into the electronic file system and retrieve the contents of the database to send to you. There is no interfering with your physical file and nobody at the visa office is involved.

What's a CSE? Can you stop using acronyms??
So if I apply with GCMS, wouldn't that conflict with the current MP?
Would the current MP be notified?
Would that slow down our application?
Thanks!
Sorry about the acronym, CSE= case-specific enquiry.
Applying for the GCMS notes should not have any bearing on what the MP is doing or has done for you. I can't think of any reason why they would notify the MP of the request, especially since it is a different department. And as mentioned, it won't interfere with the application.

How do I fill up 5563??
It's confusing, is there any guidelines to it?
I'm guessing you've already had a crack at it by now but just for the benefit of everybody who reads these posts I'll give a quick outline of what to do:
IMM5563 is completed by you, the sponsor, as you are the one making the Access to Information request.
Section A
Question 1 - select Access to Information Act
Question 2 - select your preferred language
Question 3 - select email, as this will be quickest (30 days)
Question 4 - select no, as you are requesting information on the applicant's behalf
Section B
Enter the applicant's name and date of birth here.
Select 'Electronic files', then in the boxes to the right of that you will:
- select the box 'Status of an Application'
- enter the applicant's file number (e.g. F123456789)
- enter the location of the application, i.e. the name of the visa office
Leave 'Physical files' and all the boxes to the right of that blank - do NOT request anything to do with the physical file because this will require someone to pull the application out of processing and scan the whole thing, which might delay processing.
Section C
Complete this section with all of your information (not the applicant's) since you are the requester. This section is pretty self-explanatory.

And what e-mail do you use to talk to them?
She used case specific enquiry and general enquiry and they never get back to her even though it's her own application.
What e-mail did ~you~ use to send to them in order to get a reply from them???
This was one I answered by PM but I've just been using case-specific enquiries to contact my visa office, to varying degrees of success. Sometimes I get nothing but the automated reply, sometimes I get a reply that addresses my actual question, and sometimes they give a generic reply that doesn't actually tell me anything but at least lets me know that a human being read my message.
