Every time I call the call center, the recording says they are busy and they cannot transfer my call. So now not only is CIC screwing us with the processing time, they are not accepting calls either!

Wow...Oh Canada, my home and native land...

FS, everytime I call I don't get through till about call number 4 or 5......just have to keep re-dialing which is awful cause then when you do get through it says a 2 min wait and my wait has never been less than 10mins.......which does get to be a bit of problem since I have to call from work!!!

I got an email on the 1st June to say I have been approved now status says decsion made and medicals have been received
and that I will receive a letter in post. I am confused because descion was made on the 1st the day I got an email from them to say I was appoved? any thughts thanks

congrats on ur sponsorship approval!!! they either send email or mail!!! the day it's witten "we send u a letter" it's actually the day when u received the email and when u were approved; u already have the email so that's UR LETTER; they will not mail u anything else

the decision made is under the sponsorship tab not permanent residence application tab; under permanent residence application tab u should have maybe application received? and if u click on it they would say we receive xxxx application for permanent residency and medical results have been received;

i called, and they said that they cannot give me informations about my application on the phone! they have already sent a letter, but it didn't arrive, so they will re-send it...

edit : i planned to go in canada on summer as permanent resident. can i at least hope?

try calling again; i know someone in Jan group with the same situation - agent refusing to say the content of the letter; luckily he received the letter so all was clear; but other agents do say if u were approved or not so i would try my luck again
ooooh the summer is now : : but miracles do happen it also depends on which embassy is processing ur file, some r faster some no; good luck!
