i am new here ,my husband sent my file on 31st january 2012, it was received at CIC-M on 3rd feb ,but till date i have not received any reply ,
i am very upset about it ...........
no status shown at site too......
please help me

welcome, do not worry and do not be upset,... I can only imagine if it were not for this great forum ...CIC was driving us insane...

thank u latata yes now we have to apply for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate)....this middle step should b faster yeah ....good luck all, i think by next week they will fully work on Feb applicants

ashkhullar, I know exactly how you feel, but don't give up just yet CPC-M finally got to the feb applicats, so you should be next in line.

I added you to Feb sheet. I could not change row color though.

yep I did it to see some colors haha (following missmini). I think there was another case(s) of approval in feb

My file was received on Feb 1. I called CPC-M today. They told me it's too soon and asked me to call back in 10 days. :-(

Guys, I have a question regarding proof of intent to return. Since my husband was approved as my sponsor, do we still need to worry about proof to return? In the VO they will only assess me (person being sponsored), right? or do they also look at my husbands documents?

From what I have read, the VO will mainly focus on the principal applicant. That said, they do look at the sponsor's proof of intention to return to Canada. If the sponsor has already included a ton of supporting information (detailed plans, job offer, etc.), it shouldn't be a problem...and even if it is, just have the money ready to purchase the airline tickets to provide as final proof.

today my husband got the e-mail from Ottawa immigration office and it was written in that that he got approved as a sponser & my file is forwarded to new delhi visa office .
my file was received at CIC-M on 3rd of feb.....
so i want to share this good news with u all thta i got the approval
