I think u can finally start to see some light at the end of the tunnel...i got email approval today with application received on jan 31st based on the courier....didn't see the ecas yet, maybe they actually received it in feb anyway i wrote more on the Jan thread and i'll post more details there when i have them...best of luck....soon very soon ur group will finally start to change colors

Just want to share good news with you, my husband was approved as a sponsor on 23/04/2012. Our package was received in Mississauga on Feb 1, 2012. Just to clarify we are not going through Quebec.

CIC does not accept new applications to sponsor parents or grandparents as of November 5, 2011. This is very very old news.

CIC-M has started processing applications received in February. I just read of one user who received sponsorship approval (his/her package was received on February 1). You're next in line...the long wait is nearly over...have a bit of faith and a bit more patience...you're going to be approved soon - probably end of this week or early next week!!!

That's the million dollar question ;D No one can say for certain. I'd just say that if your case is straightforward, it shouldn't take too long, or at least faster than the 80% statistic. I'm not too sure about ND...I've heard it's pretty fast. Hong Kong is a nightmare @ 19 months. I hope you get the visa ASAP...

you are welcome, I believe there are a couple of very early Feb received their approvals. Hopefully soon for all of us
