Has anyone from Feb gone to "in process" yet? I am a Jan applicant and I want to know if there is a problem with my file and hence I am still on "application rcvd" or it's just that there are loads of Januarians and I am just in queue.

Thank you for your reply. I hope you go to "in process" soon and so do I!canadiangirl78 said:I got approval on May 16 and I do not see In Process. I hear for Mexico it takes about a month.
No, her medical is not expired.Herjeet said:Forgot to ask on my last post, my wife did her medical prior to sending the full application to Mississauga, I think the date was around middle of Feb. As CIC has not processed our application for sponsorship, dose this means her medical is expired? Do they consider that they have delayed the whole thing and we should not be penalized for the cost of a new medical??

Thank you very much, that puts my mind to ease!!
I decided to call as well and I was surprised when I heard the waiting time is only 4 minutes...I guess it's because I chose french....I want to know if my file is in process too!!Belinasha said:Hi Guys,
I applied after you (March) and my application was transferred on May 29th after I got approval. I called CIC today and the woman I spoke with told me that my application was "In Process". ECAS isn't reliable as I've read from some other posters on here so all of yours might be in process, yet they aren't updating it online. I recommend calling CIC. If you get a good agent, they can tell you where your file is and if it's in process.
And can you tell us what happened in the call? Did you get any updates for the high commission side of things ? Usually these agents dont have access to high commission file processing...cgagnon said:I decided to call as well and I was surprised when I heard the waiting time is only 4 minutes...I guess it's because I chose french....I want to know if my file is in process too!!
I was on the phone with an arrogant guy but i'm using my sweet voice so I was hoping to get somewhere lol. He was checking and my file seems to still be in ottawa right now but what I can tell everybody is that if CIC is telling you your file is in Ottawa its in transit...they are not processing any Step 2 files just sending from there, they are to send them out to the appropriate Visa Office afterwards..... I'm not liking this one bit it's been 3 weeks how the heck is my file not in LA yet???? And then he says we do not have the same system as the Visa Offices so we cannot see what you might see on ECAS.....So ya not too thrilled right nowlalatata said:And can you tell us what happened in the call?
