Its been 7 months since I got my 2nd AOR... Waiting for my medical request.. what exactly they check in background!!!!!!!! the maximum time for background check and sending medical request is 8 months right???

There's no definite time now I think.
We are waiting since 1 year.
So don't expect it that soon.

Its been 3 months and I have no word regarding the passports. I'm thinking of sending an email to the embassy. I just might get the typical response that I read here. well, thats jumping to conclusions.

Jigjig: I am planning to land in Toronto. My sister (Canadian-born, moved in 2008) bought a 2-br flat in Etobicoke last August, so I have my accommodations sorted! Going to take a 2-month break and do the Canadian Securities Course first Haha I'm just small fry

i'm from Moskow VO as well, my status is still RBVO, it's been 6.5 months now no progress yet... hope we'll hear from themvery soon. 1 of my friends sent docs on begining of June 2010 and their status is n process now

Thanks Chamy. I noticed that there are some revisions on the official website re average processing time. For moscow vo it was 12 month wheas now it shows 14 months.... It means another 2 months to be passed.....

Post 26th june applications possess HIGH priority as per the Immigration Ministry CANADA, Visa Offices can not interfere in that, Ministry instructed to do so and Visa Offices run the systems (Queues) in this manner, just like post 28th Feb 2008 applications possess high priority then pre 28th Feb 2008.

The same thing happened again in June 2010 just like fast track introduced in Feb 2008 and you can say that an Ultra Fast Track is introduced in June 2010.

All the queues exist but are at different counters to be entertained...

post june applications possess high priority becauseeeeeeeee.... the new list occupation are very highly demanded thats why they have changed the list and included new nocs....

Its been 8 months since I send my full documents and 7 months since I get my 2nd AOR.... London Visa office is so slow!!!!!!!!!!!! I am getting a bit worried. I have a question.. what exactly They check in background? As I am working in dubai since 6 years and we already get checked and working in this country and all the documentations are UAE based thats why i was thinking what is making them late???? what are the most of their visas excuses? what make them excuse?? I am equiring 81 marks though!!!!!!!!!!!!!! having relatives there in canada!! everything is fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why they are talking it that long as when I applied in february i was expecting in january2011 i will get my passport stamped maximum by jan2011. I did not get my Medical request yet!!! and if I got it then even after 2-3 months i will get passport request and then further 1 month. so if it works the way i stated it wil be done uptill july 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if not then deadline can be any month and year!!!!!!!!!!
