idas

this is amazing that how fast you got your E-cas status to IN PROCESS in 3.5 months time.

My colleague (Pharmacist, CHC Singapore) got her 2nd AOR in March 2010 and yet to get her medical or status to IN PROCESS. She has IELTS 8.0 and she is married with no kids but she has traveled in the US and UK before.

What do you think what made your case so fast?
Dont worry, if you get your medical It will be a smooth process after that. I hope youre in a good health.

I think IELTS socre is one of the reason for quick process... My IELTS score is not so good.but my point is 68 out of 67.. i am worried for my IELTS score

Hi NGE, you have a fine mark of 68. As we all know 67 is the passing mark. What marks did you get in IELTS?

Congrats Idas!! 3.5 months time for MR.

I think MR processing is really dependent on the Visa Office and the complexity and completeness of your application (e.g. with spouse/children/common-law partner) and the number of employers.

Manila VO has around 2months-3months time processing but I know of someone who got their MR after 10 days of its 2nd AOR.

Goodluck!

God Bless!

Once again thanks every one for your help and wishes.

I need some clarification. SG VO wanted net worth statement (A form with Assets, Liabilities etc) with supporting documents. Is it normal to ask for that at this stage? I have already provided them with the bank certificate and a covering letter stating my financial status.

They have asked to submit 5 photos of me and my dependents, as i am single i mentioned my parents and my sister in my application though they will not accompany me to canada. Are they (parents and my sister) my dependents?

No idas parents and siblings are not considered dependants. Only spouse and children considered dependants. For asking bank statement at the time of medical is normal they wanna confirm that either the required amount of money still in your account or not.

The best thing is prayer. Its not up to the Visa Officer. Its always God's will ;)
