@ laklak - timelines should be 6-12 months once you receive the initial AOR - but usually nowadays its more or less 12 months all depending on how fast can you send the next documents and completeness of your documents.

steps include

Send APP to CIO > (2mos) Initial AOR > Send Full Docs to VO > (10 days)2nd AOR > (1month)Interview (Most of the time waived) > (1-2mos)Medical + RFP Fee > (1-3mos)PPR > (1-2mos)Visa

@ NGE - like a family tree indicating the names of your parents, mother's side siblings, your grandparents, - prolly like an organizational chart type then indicate or highlight the line between you and your uncle in canada. You can do it yourself then just sign it and explain that your uncle is your mother's brother evidenced by the birth certificates.

Grand Parents

Father-Mother Uncle-Aunt Aunt-Uncle

Sister Brother NGE Cousin Cousin Cousin

then just draw a line from Uncle to grand parent to father-mother to NGE..

I hope you get the picture hehe.

hey gashe4peace,

The additional point will come from the education of your wife, it is more beneficial to resend a new application at this point in time if you plan on changing some major information since you dont have your file number yet (through receipt of AOR).

Best bet to increase your points is from higher IELTS.

Good luck!

@ NGE - the Billing statement & PR/Citizenship/landing papers are just photocopy but for birth certificates it should be original I believe.

@ sharmilas - Thanks! They usually only require university TOR on sealed envelop. If you have more than 1 post-secondary education, each ToR on each university/college should be in their own sealed envelops. What I did was to buy envelops with my Uni seal/logo from the University supply shop and just seal the envelop myself with paste/glue. So, one envelop on each Uni.

I hope this helps

Sharmilas,

Generally, when you want transcript, you have to go to the university and put a formal request to the university, asking them to issue transcript in an official sealed envelope with university stamp and the signature of the university official on the envelope.Well different universities have different rules but that is how my university has issued transcript in the past.

Did CIO sydney sent back your docs because of not written N/A. You have applied and received by CIO on feb,08,2010. didnt get you.

sorry applied 1st feb recieved 5th feb returned today because i did not write n/a in box sent back again today fingers crossed thats it mistake wise ;D

@canadianwannabe
Ok I am also in the same boat of not writing N/A in two columns of same form on 2nd page Q21 where family members information. I wrote in the first column of my spouse information and left other two blank forgot N/A.

Question is that How could it be possible that you received return applivcation in just 25 days. usually now a days it takes 60-70 days.
