hi everyone...i got my AOR today on 20th April 2010. My application was recieved by CIC on 22nd Feb and CC was charged on 8thof April..
i hope everyone is getting their AOR. I am ready to submit my document within a week....

Hi,

My application was sent by my agent on 11 Feb which CIC received on the 17th. I'm also waiting for AOR....so you're not alone in this waiting game...if that makes you feel any better Also, if you have applied via agent like me, you might want to check the tracking number just to be sure when it was actually sent - this was the advice given to me by the seniors here when i was kinda feeling "nuts" also thingking that mine was sent in January as my agent initially claimed.

actually i applied myself... sent the docs on 3rd and reached there on 9th of feb

actually i "resent" the application as i had some mistakes .. initial application was sent on 9th of November

hi...i got AOR by email. I havent hard copy. That will be sufficient to submit full application to VO, print that email and attach with application. No need to wait for hardone..thanks

Dont wait for hard copy because there is no hard copy coming. Its only email. Just go through ur email again. You just have to take a print of this email & attach it with your application.

Sharmila/ Nadeem - Yes I can take the printout of the email. But in other forums they have said that the hard copy of AOR is more exhaustive.

It highlights things like .. if they want in particular extra details of some employer like getting tax statements over on top of the recommendation letter. They might also ask for state level PCC. In some cases they have waved off IELTS/French exam. So I see it as a very important document. I am sure if they have stopped sending then we might be the first batch.

its upto u.. i am following my visa office specific requirements and some of our genuine collegues of this forum. but i m sending my doc on sat without hard copy of AOR. if u think they can wave your ielts/french, i have no idea, it might be possible if u have more than 67 from other sections. tax letter etc u can send to support your doc. if they have any doubt on your paper....they can ask later on.

Its not AOR that u have to follow to gather your docs. Its the visa office specific requirements checklist......Simple.... Rule of thumb is that one should attach at least those docs which have been requested in visa office specific checklist. Any additionaly docs to support your application like tax return etc that u have mentioned are optional.
