Nadeem,

IN PROCESS with RbVO detail inside is not the actual IN PROCESS status.
this is clearly to calm down the waiting applicants.
moreover, IN PROCESS with RbVO inside is eligible for a refund as deva said one of his friends got it.

Good to know about the possible refund. That is reasonable.

One question, Some VO (e.g. Buffalo) mentioned that they stopped processing the applicants after Jan, 2010 (including MI-2, MI3?) because they got enough people to land.
Does that mean they got enough people to land in 2011, and also enough in 2012? If they process and issue MR now, people will land in 2012. But VO stopped processing. Or they just simply left the desk for other missions after they got enough people, and return to the desk next year.

Hi, that shall be "stop processing of Post Jan-2010 applicants".
One source is from the email which Buffalo VO sent to me recently after I asked for the status:
"... We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from February 2010 during the current calendar year. ..."
Some other people also got the same email for the status check, and had posted it in this forum. I am not sure if all VO now reply in this way or not. So I said "some VO (e.g. Buffalo)".

Sorry I don't repeat the sources all the time and sometimes I am not correct, but please do not aggressively ask questions with misunderstanding.

As far as I know, when they say the term "begin to process" meaning it is not on an "In Process" status as of yet. Considering their timeline will start as soon as they process(verification, MR etc) the application which means that these are the ones only with RBVO only. But for people with "In Process" status, your application will not be put on hold just delayed so to-speak considering the bulk of applications.

RBVO - depends on your visa office - stop or on hold (not prioritized processing)
In Process - delayed processing due to bulk applications (under process by delayed)
Medical Request - 1-year timeline can be anticipated for visa issuance since once medical is made, its only good for 1 year and they will most of the time will not ask for another medical/expense for you due to their delay in processing.

These are just my observations from multiple websites like this one. Our patience is really being tested by the Almighty. Just be calm and keep praying for Him to choose the right path for us. He knows whats best for us.

God Bless

Hey NGE, we just had medicals on our newborn baby last week. But our medical will expire on Oct 31 2011 so we might need to redo them before our visa will be issued.

Godbless!

Hi, no problem. Let us go through the tough time together.
Well, that in-process may be just the very early step of waiting to be processed as discussed in many posts. You need to check with your VO if possible.

I am planning to apply for FSW from India.
Has anybody applied using Public Provident Fund (PPF) account statement as "proof of fund"?
Is it acceptable?
