******All Jan/Feb 2010 FSW applicants, whose file is in Buffalo NY*****

Agreed. Just enough time to get new WP. Buffalo will not process MI-1 (submitted after Jan, 2010) within this calendar year. But for those MI-1 (in&before Jan, 2010), I haven't seen many changes so far on Trackitt .... For next year, I do not know what is the number of the cases to process in...

Pre June,26 applicants please join here to get the status

So that is very standard answer indeed, no matter what you asked in your email... Several months ago I went to the local CIC office for the status, and CIC office said I need to phone CIC. Then I phoned CIC. CIC said they do not take immi status query, and told me to phone VO. I phoned my VO...

Hi, no problem. Let us go through the tough time together. Well, that in-process may be just the very early step of waiting to be processed as discussed in many posts. You need to check with your VO if possible.

    <<<<< February 2010 Applicants>>>>> ;D

Hi, that shall be "stop processing of Post Jan-2010 applicants". One source is from the email which Buffalo VO sent to me recently after I asked for the status: "... We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from February 2010 during the current...

Good to know about the possible refund. That is reasonable. One question, Some VO (e.g. Buffalo) mentioned that they stopped processing the applicants after Jan, 2010 (including MI-2, MI3?) because they got enough people to land. Does that mean they got enough people to land in 2011, and also...

    <<<<< February 2010 Applicants>>>>> ;D

It shows the backlog is not the main reason of the delay. The master policy is to limit the immigration. For the "in progress", one thing is you cannot get refund in this step. If you want to wait, then wait for years due to MI-2, MI-3, backlog, the limit of the immigration, and new unknown...

    <<<<< February 2010 Applicants>>>>> ;D

Well...pretty silent here for all Pre-June. Now it is Aug. 2011. No one got new updates? The data from Trackiit looks not promising. They say we can make further request on the processing status IF our waiting time exceeds the average processing time posted on the web. The problem is that...

    **** MAY 2010 APPLICANTS ****

Policy is sometimes more than logic. Many people in MI-1 are already working in Canada, already accepted by the labor market, while the policy says MI-1 are not urgently needed by the market. The policy seems to cover the general cases. If they indeed are trying to clean the backlogs, let us...

Thanks. Some explanations can help us cool down. God bless the long-waiting and suffering pre-June applicants~ :-*

    <<<<<MARCH 2010 APPLICANTS>>>>>

Mine is still there. Someone said it is because they no longer allow the applicants to edit address online. Or probably it is system upgrades, from old system to new system. Just don't tell me there was a database crash.....

    <<<<< February 2010 Applicants>>>>> ;D

The actual processing time will be much longer than 19 months which is listed on the official web at this moment. My file was transferred to Buffalo in Mar, 2010. 2nd AOR is Sept, 2010. The status is still in Process with RBVO info. So it is 16-month waiting already. Even if I got the MR today...

    <<<<< February 2010 Applicants>>>>> ;D

So far the reasons for the long waiting (mainly for pre June 2010) I can gather are: 1) The Pre June, 2010 applications are considered as the 2nd priority, while the Post June, 2010 are 1st priority. Because the officials said the Post June, 2010 fit current Canadian labour market needs...
