How much important is to include Identity History Summary Request Checklist (it is under step:4 Review on website) form with the fingerprints and other forms? I don't know how but i missed that one in my packet. I know my packet is complete. Will i be able to send it now? Thanks.
Dont worry i dont think that needed by fbi. Its for us not to miss any paper.

Can anyone update which date is being processed today ?
Last Wednesday or Thursday, it was August 22nd applications I believe.

I'm under the impression that everyday they finished processing applications at the same date 3 months prior. Any instances in which they moved faster than that?

I received a response from them this morning Dec 4; they are opening packages received August 28, 2017. Processing time has moved to 12-14 weeks.

After how many days of sending email to Identity@ic.fbi.gov we can expect the Response in Email. My Application Delivered on 17 Oct and Last Date of Submission is 3 Jan. Also, after how many days we can expect the Reply from CIC for Extending the Deadline.

FBI typically responds in 24 hours. As for CIC, I've read on this forum that it can vary between a few days to a couple of weeks.

Just charged my card- application received Aug. 25th.

I contacted FBI and apparently my fingerprints were rejected. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

I'm just worried now that my visa application will be refused. My further 60 days will be up in December. I plan to submit another LOE to explain the situation and get new prints done ASAP and send over further proof of postage information in the LOE.

Devastated is not the word, after waiting 14 weeks for nothing!

This is a known issue. Sadly, fingerprint approval is a 50:50 chance, especially if one did them on their own (without seeking a professional fingerprinting technician). I am also dreading the day my card gets charged (sometime in Feb 2018) and keeping fingers crossed (#pun) that the fingerprints go through. And I didn't even include multiple copies (can include upto 5 copies per application).

PS: I used UPS to get my ink fingerprints.

Oh Sorry to Hear that.. from where you got the Fingerprints done ??

What about the "FBI Name Checks for Fingerprint Submissions Rejected Twice Due to Image Quality"? Anyone has some idea...

How do I get the Name Check procedure started?
• Complete the attached Name Check request form
• Mail, fax or, email the form to:
