I Just got update that they are opening appliations dated from 25-12-2014 .mine was received my FBI 31-12-2014 keeping fingers crossed they told me to check next week.

Received mail at US address- 13th March 2015

Can u plz confirm when was ur report dispatched by fbi? Mine was dispatched on 4th march and i havnt received it yet on usa address.

They told me they are opening dec 30th. For Jan 7 they told it will take at least 2-3 weeks.

Anyone from United States who can telephone FBI and ask which date they are currently processing and date of app packages they are opening.

I ring FBI and it took ages for a call rep to pick up my call and I ended up running out of credit from my mobile phone. I am calling from Saudi Arabia..

Just called, They will be mailing out mine latest by tomorrow. My app was received on Dec 8th and they charged my credit card on 27th February. Hope this give some estimation.

Hi guys,

Just got over the phone with FBI. Came to know that my fingerprints were unreadable for the second time now.

My application reached ~ 27th Nov, and my wife's prints that were also sent along, were accepted this time (rejected earlier though) and the PCC received on March 13th.

The person over the phone suggested me to go for a Channeler, but wasn't sure if they would do it for a person who is not a Green Card holder or a citizen.

I guess I will be doing another 3-4 month wait-around with the FBI.

Can anyone suggest the best way to contact CIC for getting an extension ?
Phone, email, or cover letter along with wife's PCC ?

Sorry to hear about your case. Same story here, wife's prints accepted in second round. Mine were rejected both times. I need to submit my PCC by first week of May and so will be getting a few state PCCs in lieu of the FBI PCC. I need to contact 4 states - VA, CA, NJ, FL!!

This sounds like the same exact story. But I am not going to go for state PCCs though, and shall wait for FBI after sending a truckload of prints this time, lol.

Reason for not going with the state PCCs is that I am not sure if the those will be accepted by CIC, are you ?

You should try getting state clearances though. If you send your rejection letters along with state clearance, cic might accept it.
Also, if you are in GTA, try getting the prints from Worldwide Forensics, Scarborough or Mississauga. They use an electronic scanner which rejects prints that are illegible, right away.
They then print the FD258 on a certified printer. My prints from WFS reached fbi on Jan 5th.. Keeping fingers crossed. My prints taken at US police stations - 4 sets were rejected twice.

How quickly can we expect CIC - Ottawa to process the next steps in the application? I have already submitted MR, Medicals, RPRF. The only they needed was the FBI PCC.

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you now that I got a "Ready for Visa" email from CPC-O. My last requested document was FBI PCC which I sent on 3rd march... received this email just now. This is very fast compared to others I have been observing on this forum.

People were talking about Decision Made email, but I got this ready for visa email requesting to send our Passports within 30 days.
