Thank you very much for your detailed reply, +1. Yes, I have my SSN. I entered the US 8 years ago the last time. The ridges that caused white lines must have been much fewer. They were better 2 years ago as well.

I'll send multiple fingerprint sets and hope for the best then.

Hi TTBN,

If your fingerprints were the same forever I don't think there would be any issue. Hope You have your SSN number. Please quote that in the Form. The FBI searches at the DHS ( Department of Homeland security ) server for your identification. Then they do a search at the data bases of all 50 states and sees if there is any arrest or search with the finger prints sent by you.

If your FP were same earlier , I hope those ridges were there when you entered US.

1)You can write a cover letter explaining your situation.
2)Provide multiple copies of FP done by a professional.
3)Provide your Visa Copy by which you entered. - I know this is not required. But some information to identify you or your finger prints.Since you have a issue.

4) Please send one more application with multiple finger prints with new payment after one or two weeks. Just in case it gets rejected you have a second application in line after one or two weeks. At least you don't have to wait for 14 weeks + 3 weeks delivery time (outside US).

You can tell your local VO that it has been rejected twice, please accept State PCCs or suggest alternatives.

Even I had a second application , just in case the first one gets rejected.

I wish and pray all these does not happen and you get your FBI PCC soon.

Just called the FBI customer services. They are currently inputting Oct 24 requests. Mine is Oct 28 which should take about a week or 2.

by inputting do you mean CHARGING ?

Any early Oct. applicants (besides INDIA2CANADA.PDA) who have already received their reports, please?!

I think inputting and charging is almost the same i.e. within a few days apart at the most.

Hi Destinationca - Have you tried calling the FBI, because you seem to have passed the 14 week deadline? If it is not too difficult please call them.

Wow!! I think their processing time has increased ... when I thought it would decrease.... For your spouse Nov 10, I can understand it, but I think your case is really delayed.

I requested an address change yesterday. They confirmed updating my address and asked me to check up on my request status in a few weeks. A few f#$king weeks!! Not a week or 2, no! a FEW! as if I have such time to spare. My deadline is 30 Jan. and my request was received on Oct. 6
and they won't confirm whether my fingerprints were accepted or not!

29th Sep. - interesting!!
I recall a post of a member indicating that it took them a whole week just opening that day's requests.
Maybe that's what's taking so long?! Hopefully we'll get our reports soon. I'm already thinking of the possibility of asking for yet ANOTHER extension from CPC-Ottawa :( but let's just wait and see.

So did you request for an Extension already? If yes, how did you request for it and how did you get a confirmation once it was approved. We have a deadline of Feb 02 and I don't think we will be able to get my SPouse's report by this date.

My original deadline for submitting the FBI PCC was Nov. 22
As soon as I had applied for the FBI PCC, I requested an extension knowing for sure I wasn't going to be able to meet that deadline
They responded by email extending it till Jan. 30
But as I'm not sure yet whether I'll be able to meet that deadline or not, I think I'll just hold on till it's Jan. say 28 or so before I ask for another one
In your case I don't understand why both of you didn't apply for the FBI PCC together! I'd suggest that if you haven't requested an extension yet to ask for one, since I don't think your husband's report will be in hand before Feb. 2
If you have already got an extension, I'd suggest you wait until you get your report and submit it with a new request for an extension for your husband. I think that'd prove good faith.
For details on how to send a request for an extension, please refer to a prior post of mine in this thread. Good luck and thank you for the update. + 1 for you
