I just sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca to request my extension. I got an automated reply right away.
Is anyone aware of any extension request being denied?

I am happy to share the news with you all that I received my FBI PCC today.Here are the key milestone dates of my FBI PCC application.


Application Received by FBI : 02-OCT-2014
Letter from FBI to submit new payment form: 17-Nov-2014 (saying that my CC declined when they tried)
Submitted new payment form : 21-Nov-2014
CC Charged : 08-Dec-2014
Search Completed : 13-Dec-2014
Date of the certificate printed : 29-Dec-2014
Received in USPS mail: 6-JAN-2015 ( destination within USA)

So, it exactly took 13 weeks 5 days to receive the report in hand ( I was worried that my CC decline would impact the timelines, but it looks like it didn't)... Hope this information will help others that are waiting for this.. And hope everyone will receive their reports asap.All the best!!!!.. Thanks

my request was received 4 days after yours, I got my CC charged on Nov. 24th

As I posted yesterday, FBI is no longer taking phone calls, at least thru that phone number we have. If anyone could reach them and get to know the dates they are processing, please inform. My application was reached on Oct 15th and charged on Dec 23rd. I would like to know what to expect once my deadline to submit documents to VO is Feb 15th.

It seems like the time is stretching exponentially coz my app was received on 15th October and charged on 23rd December. I am expecting to receive the report in the end of the month and I also have a friend in USA who is going to mail via Fedex to brazil.

Good to hear that you have received your report. My docs were reeceived by FBI on Sep 30 and CC charged on Nov 04 and unfortunately, am still waiting -( Hope to receive it sometime this week..

I would advise you to use professional's service to get fingerprinting to be on a safe side to get the fp accepted by FBI ! As we know PCC processing time with FBI has significantly increased to around 14 weeks, guess nobody would like to see file rejection after long wait and reapply again ! It could also cost a lot if VO is already given us a deadline for PCC.

I have got fingerprinting from J K Consultancy in Delhi and it cost 4k with them.

I am Oct 22nd applicant and just waiting curiously to see my CC charged for PCC fees by FBI.

I have still not got a PER mail, though my CC has been charged. Was looking at doing it myself, as 4k for just fingerprints looks extremely expensive to me. May be i will also get it done through an expert, but wanted to give it a try.

When you say, 22-oct applicant, are you referring to the FBI PCC or CIC application.
