Just make sure that someone called "L WAGNER" received it by tracking the package
If so, then everything should be OK and in order

It's impossible for late Nov. / early Dec. applicants to have their CC charged already
I'm an Oct. 6th applicant and it took them 7 weeks to charge mine
Now it takes around 8 to 10 weeks

Just called them, they are opening Oct 22nd applications. I am hoping I will get CC charge this week. Fingers crossed. They asked me to call after 4 weeks

Actually, knowing if your fingerprints were accepted is the last stage i.e. when they try to scan it into the machine. So I think you will be able to know this end of Feb/early March or so.

The first stage however is when they enter your details in their system and take your money. As indicated by others they seem to be at Oct 22 right now, so your Dec 4th application would take a while. Once they do this, then please call them just to know if your finger prints reached. (not accepted). They lost the finger prints of one guy here. From the trend I think you can do this early next month.

I just sent an email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca to request my extension. I got an automated reply right away.
Is anyone aware of any extension request being denied?

There's no formal / unified format
You just send an email explaining your efforts in order to get your FBI identity history summary ASAP (accompanied with proof)
I recommend you make it a short and informative email in the mean time
Send your email at CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca
CPC Ottawa responds within 20 days telling you whether your request was granted or not
The email MUST be sent before your dead line for submitting the FBI IHS comes
Don't forget to include these information about yourself / your application in the email
Surname (Last name) :
Given name(s) (First name) :
Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD):
Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number :
Application number (V#, F#, EP#, E#, B#) :

No. Not me personally. I sent my request in late Oct and got a response exactly a week later. CPC-O is a bit erratic though, so your time may vary. I wish you the best.

I am in kind of strange situation and hoping to get an idea of my timelines for FBI to complete my PCC would be . Posting it here to see if anyone is/was in the same boat and find out their experience.

My PCC application initially reached FBI on 2nd October 2014. But when FBI tried to charge my CC, it was declined(unfortunately, my credit card company issued a new CC in between because of some fraudulent attacks on their systems). As expected, I got a letter back from FBI asking to submit a new payment form on 17-Nov-2014. And, I submitted a new form with new credit card information on 21-Nov-2014. My Credit card was charged on 08-Dec-2014.

Application Received by FBI : 02-OCT-2014
Letter from FBI to submit new payment form: 17-Nov-2014
Submitted new payment form : 21-Nov-2014
CC Charged : 08-Dec-2014


Now I am confused if I my target timeline of 12-14 weeks will start from 21-Nov or 2-Oct...I tried calling FBI, but is not getting a straight answer. I already got the PCC request from CPC-O and last date for submission is 20-FEB-2015.. ??? ??? ???

Lesson Learnt/Advise to fellow future applicants: never use a credit card for these type of transactions when you have an option of submitting DD/Money order.. we never know when CC company changes it.. :-(

I am happy to share the news with you all that I received my FBI PCC today.Here are the key milestone dates of my FBI PCC application.


Application Received by FBI : 02-OCT-2014
Letter from FBI to submit new payment form: 17-Nov-2014 (saying that my CC declined when they tried)
Submitted new payment form : 21-Nov-2014
CC Charged : 08-Dec-2014
Search Completed : 13-Dec-2014
Date of the certificate printed : 29-Dec-2014
Received in USPS mail: 6-JAN-2015 ( destination within USA)

So, it exactly took 13 weeks 5 days to receive the report in hand ( I was worried that my CC decline would impact the timelines, but it looks like it didn't)... Hope this information will help others that are waiting for this.. And hope everyone will receive their reports asap.All the best!!!!.. Thanks
